Fantastic location in Central Lamai and right on the Beach. Large bungalow that was very clean. Asked for a problem to be fixed and this happened straight away. Nice little Cafe restaurant with attentive staff and good food and cocktails.

I didn’t like the pool much so didn’t bother with it. But the beach is good there why would you bother?

Spacious room, with everything we needed -good air-conditioning , fridge, kettle, safe and regulars cleaning and top up of water, coffee etc. All staff helpful. Very nice pool. Best thing is location - a few metres to the fabulous beach, close to bars and restaurants and night market but - and VERY thankfully - quiet. No noise at all from those who want a noisier holiday than us!!! Good value. Thank you to everyone.

I could say that the pool was very warm but wouldn't expect much sympathy 🤣🤣🤣 I would like more than one small drawer to store clothes!

Lamai Inn 99 is exactly the sort of gem that is disappearing from the more popular beach resorts in Thailand. It's huts and rooms on the beach with all the comforts you want without any of the expensive nonsense frippery that has crept into many places. It has aircon (v.cold), good shower pressure, good sized balcony, comfy beds, a fridge, a safety box. It's all kept spotlessly clean by the most lovely staff. Amazing value for money. Sure, it's a little older than some places, but imo that's a good thing : it means the rooms are larger.

The beachside cafe attached to the hotel is a tad disappointing. However, walk 30 seconds to the left, and you arrive at the excellent Coconut Beach Restaurant.

The description of the hotel was beachfront however from the actual rooms you couldn’t even see the beach which was a bit disappointing. The WiFi also barely worked in our room which meant the tv (which had Netflix) which would have been quite nice also didn’t work.

Was very impressed with 99 bungalows, we had a beach view room and was 9 steps away from the sand with a great view.

Sometimes maids a bit forgetful of water and toilet roll. Small issue with the safe on the last day.

The breakfast was amazing! Not a buffet like most places but came with a variety of options from Pancakes to smoothly bowls, and bacon and eggs cooked your way. Always served with coffee, juice and fresh fruit. Staff were amazing and attentive!

Rooms are an older style and would probably benefit from a renovation. But good value for money. They are clean and all amenities working.

No wifi in our room. Staying with kids it is very important.

They clean the room everyday. The sheets are so clean! Friendly staffs and express access to the beach. In the middle of Lamai's main street but slightly remote(3 mins top? to Lamai's main street) so it's not noisy. The hotel wasn't hot. Good air conditioner. Have a safety box. Hot pot. Hair dryer. 2 bottles of water and a roll of toilet paper everyday. Socket right next to the nightstand. They have beach towls. Just ask.

The dresser is in a place without socket so I can't see myself while using the hair dryer. I use the window reflection instead. Only works in the night lol. Low water pressure of the shower but the hot water was comfy so it's fine. The tv came with Netflix and Youtube bit the WiFi is too weak to use it. The WiFi is not very stable but usable. I watched Netflix and Youtube with my iPad and it was okay. Smells funny without the air conditioner. I noticed most of the house in Thailand don't have 24 hrs air changing system. So most of the house smells moldy.
