A nice hotel complex right on the beach with a large swimming pool that looks like a natural pond thanks to the grey-green tiling, even though it is rectangular. Excellent location. My Deluxe Villa was very nice. The management takes care of the maintenance and cleanliness of the nice modern style garden. When I reported a minor defect in the room when I left the hotel in the evening, it was fixed when I returned two hours later - good job.

The system for logging into the Internet looks professional, but it is very bad. Even if you mark so that the system remembers you, it doesn't work. When you don't notice that the system has logged you out, the phone reliably sucks data from your data card, even though you are in a hotel and the WiFi signal is good. I did not order breakfast, because its price is several times higher than in other Thai hotels of a similar category. I once ordered Tom Yum soup at a restaurant, but it tasted like water with a little lemongrass. It was lightly seasoned and not spicy at all. My negative comments do not mean that I was dissatisfied, rather they are intended for management as ideas for improving services.

Location is the best in Lamai, hands down! central to everything, a huge relaxing pool, the beach on your doorstep. Rooms were comfortable and housekeepers were efficient each day.

The bathtub in the rooms were a little weird, in that there was no way to prevent them from flooding the bathroom. The design of the shower meant that every day the bathroom was soaking wet.

The Weekender Resort is bang in the centre of Lamai and could not get a better location, from check-in to check-out everything was fabulous. My room was spotlessly cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels provided and bed linen changed. Breakfast is provided and you can either prepay as part of your booking or take it when required, plenty of choice for breakfast with something for everyone with plenty of Tea/Coffee, the gardens/pool/beach areas are kept immaculately clean with plenty of beach beds spread around but make sure you get up early enough to bag one. Any issues I had were quickly resolved and Leo the Manager was very friendly and Helpful, I would certainly return for another holiday but would upgrade to a better room.

The staff were excellent so we're the manager who sorted out a get minor problems. I would highly recommend the weekender for a comfortable relaxed stay. The massage ladies in the beach were excellent and amazing value for money. Please support them too.

My second visit & the location of the weekender resort is perfect for me, its bang in the middle of everything, the rooms were kept immaculately clean with fresh bedding and towels, supplies of tea, coffee and water also given daily, the little fridge in the room was very useful. Yes some repairs were necessary in the rooms but nothing that spoiled my stay.

Shower over the bath ? surely some bathroom updates are required and necessary and not everyone can afford to pay for premium rooms as the difference in price is quite significant, although I’m quite mobile I did find it at times dangerous climbing into and out of the bath. Another pet hate is the daily rush to get a sun bed, people getting poolside and beachfront before 7am to put towels on and reserve sun beds only to then disappear for hours and sometimes not returning stopping others using the sun beds

Great location right on the beach. It provided a well needed chill after a month of travelling. Lovely pool and plenty of sun loungers. Gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The sunrise on the beach was worth getting up for. Good cocktails in Happy hour. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Cleaner was very efficient. Also lovely balcony with drying rack for clothes. Very helpful reception staff. Breakfast was amazing the first few days, but as the hotel filled up for Christmas they changed to buffet and it wasn't as nice. Added bonus of a gorgeous puppy :)

The reason for 8/10. The bathroom was outdated, looked dirty because of this and also water run everywhere when you showered, floor was soaked every time. The Christmas eve dinner was awful, a real disappointment for the money. We wasn't even offered a complimentary drink despite my main being 45 minutes after my husbands. They even tried to charge as twice. Small complaints though for a wonderful stay. Ignore the bathroom and meal and it would be a 10.

The staff at this hotel is extremely friendly! Like many places in Thailand, they have some difficulty with English, but if you are patient, they will understand you. The hotel itself is wonderful; the swimming pool is large and beautiful, and it is conveniently located next to the beach and close to other attractions. Initially, I was hesitant because of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again! Compared to many other expensive options in Samui, this hotel is a great choice for solo travelers or families.

Don’t recommend stay in Standard room. Everything is quite old: furniture, plumbing. Choose Superior or higher.

smack in the middle of things but far enough away from any night noise. hotel spotless beach perfect. what more do I need to say ! oh also infinity pools are lovely.
