We stayed in villa 11 villa was huge and great facilities we also had the sun all day pool cleaned and room whenever we wanted, the breakfast was fantastic healthy green juice welcome shot of ginger orange and cayanne pepper all healthy options and was served really quick, the staff were great so helpful and friendly! Big shout out to Elaine the manager for letting us stay an extra night as I had booked the wrong date, she even bought my daughter Lola a teddy. The hotel is in need of some general Maintenence and the owner is aware of this and it’s all Going ahead but it’s slow in Thailand and it’s taking a long time so just be aware of that but it doesn’t make the stay less enjoyable, the owner even gave us a lift to our next accommodation and recommended things to do with our daughter all in all we loved our stay!

Just needs some TLC which is in the pipeline

I was a little worried at first because some people havent given the best reviews in the past, but i really cant understand them. The complex is very well maintained and very green and beatifull. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. The pool was cleaned daily and the staff were very attentive and helpfull. The breakfast options were abundant and healthy. The location is great as you cant walk everywhere, there is great restaurants all around and it is still quite calm and not noisy. Overall great experience would deffinately stay here again. I had the Tropical Poolvilla.

Zara Beach Resort was such a highlight for our trip. The rooms were clean and beautiful, every single staff from reception, groundsmen, cleaners and food and beverage workers were all so helpful and kind. The pool/ restaurant was beautiful and clean and the menu was extensive with amazing, cheap, healthy, DELICIOUS meals. The resort is located in an amazing location, very central to lamai with only a 1 minute walk away from the night market, but still tucked in its own peaceful little area. Such a tropical beautiful resort all around, we loved our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We stayed in villa with a pool and it was so well isolated from other houses that you can practically walk around the pool naked 😊 It's was confmy, location was great, practically on the beach and 5 minutes walk from night market, scooter rentals, and a lot of restaurant. 7eleven is also 2 minutes walk, as well as the gym. For fitness oriented, they have one of the best health/fitness restaunts inside the resort, with huge selection of carefully crafted meals to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Wifi signal was not the best in the room, so if you want to have video calls it's better to move to the lobby or near the shared pool. Also we had a problem with ants/mosquitoes in the room, but these were solved by the hotel staff

What a wonderful place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home at Zara Beach Resort. The beach is literally right in front — the perfect spot to enjoy a stunning sunrise over the sea. The rooms are spacious (around 75 m² on average), spotless, and have a relaxing tropical vibe. Ideal for anyone who appreciates comfort and a bit of privacy. Elaine, the manager, and Alon, the owner, were absolutely amazing. Always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — they made sure everything was perfect and added such a personal touch to our stay. It felt more like visiting friends than staying in a resort. A peaceful, charming place in a great location with truly wonderful people — we’ll definitely be back! 🌴

This was our best stay in Thailand, me and my girlfriend stayed here for just under a week. Location was great about 2 minutes from the beach, great access to the rest of lamai and into other parts such as Chaweng. Our room was very nice and tidy and always cleaned to perfection They had an amazing cafe / bunch bar , staff here was lovely and owner was so helpful - great place for eating and drinks while chilling with even a aircon work place Finally I’d love to mention how amazing the woman at reception was , one of the nicest ladies you’d ever meet , so helpful with everything and couldn’t ask for a better hotel host- even tipped her some baht !

The stay at Zara Beach Resort was a truly special experience. This quiet and pleasant resort is located right on the beach and just a 2-minute walk from the local night market. Every single staff member was always smiling and happy to help whenever needed. The villa was very spacious, and the private pool was a wonderful upgrade that enhanced everything the resort has to offer. Communication with the reception can be done via WhatsApp (there are no phones in the rooms), and every request I made was answered quickly.

Room needs an update but it was ok

The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The pool area was great, with a nice air-conditioned room on the side. Food and cocktails were delicious and the resort is only about a one-minute walk to the beach with restaurants. After check-out I realized I had accidentally left my iPad behind. One of the staff members kindly drove it over to my new resort on her motorbike!

The only small fault was the shower pressure, the water tended to spray everywhere but this is just minor.

Beautiful property, very well managed by the staff who are constantly out sweeping to keep the lovely appearance. It’s so close to night markets and 7-eleven. Lovely accommodations with our own private villa, tucked off from the others. It’s less then an arms length from the beach with lots of action for those looking to party while also having some lovely spots for a nice quite dinner.

The only down side about our stay (which was kinda our fault) we booked for 10 days and for the first two they had some pretty loud music on the beach (Thai concert) because it’s so close we could hear all the bands going until late into the night. Now again we can’t control the events that happened to take place during our visit but luckily the festival had ended a few nights later. It was a fun market/ festival and we walked around it a few times to get some late night snacks. I would just recommend checking to see if they’ll have any live performances in that area during your stay. But overall loved the staff and atmosphere!
