Gorgeous timber cabins around a lovely lake and amidst really lush gardens on one side, the River on the other. Artsy traditional Thai touches throughout. Bed was nice and hard, plumbing worked OK, dinner was good quality and a wide choice, but breakfast was so-so- some items were unintentionally cold.

The major drama turned into a big positive- when the AC unit leaked all over our stuff, the hotel staff were onto the problem in force and it was fixed immediatly, generous compensation accepted. Much of the wooden floors, steps and bridges seem quite old and uneven, beware tripping on them after dark.

Beautiful resort that immediately has a calming effect. Wonderful for a small retreat. The staff was available around the clock, always courteously friendly and organized great things for me that exceeded my expectations. The small pond with lotus invites you to linger and relax. Lovely place! Breakfast is a fusion of western and local foods and is served from 06:00 a.m. on - so you can enjoy the first meal of the day as the sun rises over the river. If I'm in the area again, this will be my favorite place to stay!

The resort is located outside the city, so you have to rely on a vehicle or cabs. But that's not a problem.

Lots of good and few things that could be improved. The resort is probably the best we had in the last 2 months of travelling. Rooms are very large size, quiet environment, very very nice exotic decor, very good food, people are very nice and helpful to serve different plates at your liking, nice pool outside, private rooms and large resort to walk around without being disturbed, extraordinaire breakfast except for lack of bacon. For some reasons in Thailand, they serve you sausages and ham which is not quite tastefull or healthy. Improved could be some small renovation inside some of building, faucets getting old, a better bartender to prepare the drinks, no gym but these are small details for the price being charged. Overall this is a good place.

We're not really into buffet breafast. I'm gluten-intolerant and my husband likes baked breads, but we both found delicious things to eat at the morning breakfast. Perhaps they could add a few other options that a gluten or celiac person might be able to indulge.

We found the organized manner that the dining room conducted was a bit exclusive. We arrived as a couple and felt the dining room was impenetrable insofar as enjoying ourselves. We moved to the bar and had drinks and snacks and the staff were fabulous. We enjoyed that experience.

This is a nice hotel just in the middle of the jungle. I stayed in the bungalows at the lake and it was really comfy and relaxing. It's difficult to assess pricing on apps such as booking (whether you over- or underpayed), but for around 40 euros per night, it was good value. Yes it's a bit old and rustic but also very charming. At night it's quiet and there is a nice pool. You feel really immersed in nature

It's a bit far off the city centre; also there were a lot of Western families with screaming kids but that's not the hotel's fault. Just be aware that for quietness, avoid the pool area after 15h or so...

Too far from the centre of Lampang if staying more than just a pass through on your. Everything wood needs some serious restoration. All the pool furniture and boardwalks were falling apart. The breakfast could have been much better. Even having the bored chef cook eggs to order. The cold fried eggs and scrambled pre cooked eggs were not appetising. Simple things but otherwise an enjoyable stay.

• Surprisingly with the location was great for a relaxing day green nature. • Specious the Hotel space we book for, a comfortable bed, good air-conditioning temperature, large bath room. •Good scenery of swimming pool, surrounded by pund and nature, quite best relaxing. • Variety Thai and western breakfast selection, make my day so happy • Staff very helpful especially bell boy, maid, gardener, and reception. • we stay only one night, we will stay again when we have time.

Basically everything! The attention to detail on the property is just insane. You arrive down a beautiful path next to the lake, which sets the tone for the magic of your stay here. The rooms are adorable wooden lodges, traditional Thai style, of varying shapes and styles. We loved our room, from the huge bed with mosquito net, to the extra day bed, to the big deck, the sliding doors, and the big wooden key. The pool backs on to the river, and while we didn't have time for a swim, it's a great view, very photogenic. At the back of the property, when walking to breakfast, you cross a huge bridge, walk past turkey-fowl, and enter to the restaurant through the mist. It's like being in a movie. It's special, my only thought was "I wish my mum were here to see this". The food for dinner and breakfast were both very nice. Also, if you're visiting Ko Kha, this is a great location, but for Lampang, you might want to get closer to the city.

The porch light was on where we arrived and loads of bugs were going crazy at our door, then when we came in, there were quite a few lizards in the room. One took a shower with us (he was not invited). The cocktails were weak and overpriced in the evening, and they were not as described.

This is a dreamlike property. A huge garden between a pond and a river. The garden is very well kept. The bungalows are very nicely decorated and spread around the garden. The only problem is that it’s a bit outdated but I understand the difficulties of keeping such a place always in tiptop condition. Overall we had a beautiful stay and it was am experience itself. I do recommend if you have transportation.

Nice place to visit if you want quiet and very good food. The resort is really a resort with lots of space and fully equipped with everything except a gym. Few little things could be improved and they have many people employed to maintain its status. The property is getting old but it as its charm. Also dont order drinks from the bar, the lady need some practice to get it to international standards.
