On arrival I received a cordial and organised welcome. All members of staff I interacted with were friendly. The room was spacious and clean, if a little dated. My room looked quite like the pictures. The bed and pillow were comfortable. There were toiletries in the bathroom. I also liked that there was a lift. The communal areas were clean and well-organised. I was only able to stay one night but I thought it was good value for a central location, especially as the price I paid included a buffet breakfast with lots of different options.

The swimming pool was under maintenance. The way of connecting to wifi could be simpler and easier. The hotel is probably due a refurbishment to bring it into line with more modern standards and expectations. But it has a kind of colourful retro charm!

Located on the wrong side of the train station and all the attractions and restaurants are on the other side of the train tracks. Swimming pool is small and in-between 2 walls with no sun.

The breakfast was excellent. All the foods were prepared and displayed very nice. The kitchen folks were also very nice.

The room toilet paper rolls are skimpy. Otherwise, everything else is very nice.

The hotel staff delivered a polite professional service. The facilities were good. I enjoyed the breakfast options. I would recommend this hotel.
