Location and comfortable beds

If you have an early flight and need to leave the hotel before 7 AM, checking out is not be possible, and the hotel will hold your room deposit as it’s paid in cash. Unfortunately, you may end up losing it, as happened in my case.

I stayed in many different hotels on Training Street and this was by far my favorite. The rooms are very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the showers are great.

Amazing pool with great views. Extremely comfortable bed and linen. Good aircon and WiFi. Great hotel standard for the area. Very close to all gyms.

There is no gym (old and run down). Up a little hill but not an issue unless you have problems or a baby.

We had a fantastic stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved the pool, sauna, ice bath and especially the quality of the room. The air conditioning in the room was great as well as the bed, bathroom, tv. We had an issue with loud plumbing/water noises coming from behind the bathroom wall but we told reception and people came straight away and sorted it out. They offered to change rooms if the noise persisted but it didn’t. One weird thing is that we were actually in the new Blue Hotel Mavi. When we arrived at the Blue Hotel, they put us on a shuttle bus for an extremely quick 2 min ride to the new Mavi building. There’s 3 Blue Hotel buildings and the Mavi is the newest one. We were very happy in this as I’ve previously stayed in one of the main Blue Hotel buildings and the Mavi is by far the best. It’s modern, nicer decorations and way better rooms and facilities. Most of the staff were lovely and friendly but unfortunately some of the front desk staff aren’t the most polite or welcoming. Overall we had a really good stay and will recommend this to our family and friends.

The bed was comfortable. They provided robes, slippers, shower caps, ironing board and iron, which was a good added value. They touch up the rooms daily.

You have to have your transport unless you want to stay in the hotel all day, as you get only a few restaurants and boxing training spots within walking distance. Even though the cleaner came in daily, she forgot to leave towels in the room; our slippers disappeared after 1st night and did not replenish water each day. Bed linen was not changed either, and we stayed 4 days. No phone to call reception and too far away to go to reception each time we realised something was missing. The most misleading thing about the hotel was the main picture on booking.com. It is the picture of the theatre in Phuket centre and not the hotel.

The Blue Hotel is a great choice if you’re planning to visit Fitness Street. The hotel is located in the middle of fitness street and walking distance to all of the best gyms, fitness camps and boxing. Healthy restaurants all walking distance including plenty of Vegan options. The hotel is modern, amazing roof top pool with fabulous views. Gym , ice bath and sauna. Staff at The Blue Hotel are great- helpful, friendly. The room was a great size and modern, clean and felt vey spacious. Very comfortable bed and nice balcony

Nothing - great hotel and great value for money

The staff is the best part about the stay. They are all so nice and friendly. They are always ready to help. Room cleaning is very great as well. Nice and spacious room with a nice balcony to eat breakfast and drink coffee. Also a nice view from the rooftop.

The shower drain doesn't really get all the water/sand down, which is annoying when you are finishing a shower and you step on the sand that is still stuck to the tiles. Unfortunately, the pool closes pretty early, and I enjoy going to the pool in the evening. Didn't have time during the day to use the pool, so evening is usually the best time for me.

For the location it was perfect. Walking distance to all gyms. Simple but good quality hotel. Nice modern comfy rooms and beds. The pool is really nice!! On top of the building and you can swim right to the edge of the building.

Maybe I expected a little bit more luxury. The pictures look a bit nicer than reality.

room was clean and neat, just what was needed for a week on Fitness Street. Bed was very comfortable and was good to have a big fridge in the room as well! Pool was really great as well!

Some things a bit rundown like the gym and areas of the hotel overall

Spacous room and Excellent rooftop pool area. Was great to have an ice bath, sauna, steam room and onsen as well, with the amount of training I was doing.

The acoustics weren't great, I had a very loud neighbour for a couple of days.
