Perfect location (would choose the ocean view room, there is no balcony on the street side!), would chill on the balcony. Nice breakfast and pool is very nice. Beach is beautiful, affected by tides so you can only walk at the beach during low tide. Rent bikes and cycle to Ao Manao if you want to swim, not far. Night market very close by. Post office just opposite the hotel. We loved our stay here, would stay again 100%.

The rooms on the street side are not worth it. Choose the ocean side.

Great location on sea front, 2 mins from seafront weekend market and pier. 3 mins from centre markets and 5 mins from week day night market. Plus rear of hotel is the lovely old wooden houses of the original village. Pool was lovely and breakfast great choices and fantastic view over the sea. Rooms were old fashioned but clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again for a night or two.

Needs a lot of TLC, verging on shabby, pool area exposed wires, lights with no covers, rusty area. Only four sunbeds for a hotel that must have 80 rooms. Plus only 3 tables and chairs. By just sorting pool out would be a massive improvement. Room balcony's need wood treating or painting, just a general but of TLC all around.

Very good location. Comfy bed. Quiet and not crowded. Super gorgeous view of the beach and delicious breakfast! I really loved that they served many styles of eggs; fried (deep fried & sunny side up), soft boiled and hard boiled! You can choose what you’d like! 🥚🍳💛

This hotel is old and vintage. So, some parts in the room are old, ruined and need to refurnished. The lights are too dim. It made the room quite dark.

This hotel was much better than we expected. We had a view to the beach, the floor was shiny tiles and room large enough and very clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. Breakfast was in a lovely large room with view of the sea. It had the basics and for me being vegan there was only fruit and cornflakes. The staff were lovely. The foyer is large with some lovely old hand carved seats. We thought it was great value for money. It certainly wasn't the Grand Hyatt but you're not paying Grand Hyatt prices. It is an old hotel and looked like it would have been pretty grand in its day. It is in a great location.

Bathroom was a bit dingy. Breakfast could have been better with more fruit and cereal. But for the price was great.

The location was great and the rooms and beds are large. We enjoyed our sea view.

Breakfast is rather odd. Strange eggs (served uncooked), very limited choice for westerners. Very hot spicy curry, couldn’t eat. Rate breakfast very low. But room and location high.

Fantastic hotel, perfect location, huge clean and comfortable rooms. Very quiet, lovely swimming pool. Helpful staff. Cannot fault the hotel at all.

Sea location

Nothing- it was the first big hotel built in the town so it is a little dated but still in excellent condition and actually extended our stay at the hotel as it was so nice- for what you pay its excellent value.

They seemed suprised that I wasnt a couple as I had booked for two to ensure a big bed. Great view, good pool I may have been the only user. Popular with the local business community but many of its facilities were closed. The bathroom door needs replacing, and the drop off in revenue during covid is clear,.

See above. Friday night is the night for the Business community to "rage" at the hotel, and the Teenagers on the waterfront. All that is local colour as far as I am Concerned.and it was well over by two.
