Having stayed at this property pre Covid, I had arranged a diversion in my travel plans to specifically re visit. The memories of that visit, were of a served breakfast …. That was exceptional at the time. A very different story this time around.

Breakfast from its fabulous past , has long gone , and an average breakfast is delivered at a self service station. In terms of quality it’s best to rate it at average to poor. I had Dinner the night before , which id rate as poor to plain awful. Sea Bass dinner( probably re heated) was tepid when served. Totally unacceptable effort. The wine and charges at the Bar for Drinks were staggering. As it’s popularity has risen due its high rating on this site, management need to remember how special this place was, and what a gem of a property it is. Standards have collapsed and they rely on the quality of the property and it’s location.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Antalya – Truly Unforgettable! We had an absolutely magical stay at Ruinadaliya Hotel! What makes this place so special is its breathtaking setting—built beautifully right on top of ancient ruins, blending history and comfort in the most unique way. Although it’s located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Antalya’s old town, the hotel feels like a calm oasis. You step inside and are immediately embraced by peace and charm. The pool area was stunning—a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. Every corner of the hotel is thoughtfully designed, creating a relaxing and atmospheric experience that you won’t find anywhere else. The staff were all incredibly courteous and welcoming. A special shout-out to Yousouf, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Also, the young man working night shifts was a lifesaver—when our pre-booked taxi didn’t arrive on time, he took it upon himself to call them and eventually arranged a safe and reliable alternative for us. This place is truly a hidden gem and I can’t recommend it enough. I’m already looking forward to returning on my next trip to Antalya!

The staff was very nice : receptionists, waiters, cleaning staff. We liked the size of the room which had large wardrobes with plenty of storing space and a well equiped bathroom. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool area (the temperature was okay for a mid-April swim). The garden around it is well maintained. We were happy to come back to the hotel after a long day walking in the city. It felt like an oasis. The breakfast taken inside a pleasant room has something for every taste. We liked the different yogurts and fruits.

The room was dark and pulling the heavy curtains up would mean being almost face to face with the window of another hotel. Changing the type of curtains would certainly help. We always needed to turn the lights on, which is a pity.

Excellent location, very helpful staff from Baran to Emre and the Manager, the restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff. Beautiful setting and architectural layout with the ruins below which we were give a guided tour by the Manager. Kudos to the owners for having taken care of this to preserve the historical significance of the place. Our room was massive and better than I expected. Great that we could switch on/off the airconditioning as required. Excellent washroom/shower with hot water available 24 hours if required.

I cannot recall staying in any other hotel in my significant travels worldwide including in National parks in Kenya where tea/coffee making facilities were not available in the room. So that was a big disappointment for us. I had read in a review about the unavailability of iron so we took our travelling iron with us.

- Rooms were cute and spacious with pleasant balcony-type area. - In the heart of Antalya, yet a quiet spot. Can hear music nearby but that's understandable and wasn't too disruptive. - The main restaurant's food was good. - Beautiful looking cultured hotel. - Friendly and accommodating staff.

- There's no iron in the rooms and you have to pay for ironing facilities. Unless this isn't uncommon then I'll take this comment back but when I found out I would have to pay €5 - €20 per item of clothing I was astonished. - Beds could be more comfortable for the standard of the hotel. - Rooms could do tea and coffee facilities - Breakfast wasn't amazing, but that could just be where I'm from England.

This place is the bees-knees... Such a comfortable, luxurious place to stay. I loved reading my book on the terrace or by the pool bar. Breakfast was extensive in terms of choices. All staff were great. The museum underneath was fantastic to see. I was lucky and got an excellently priced-deal. Would have no hesitation staying here again.

Very little - would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room but I was always able to get it at the pool bar when needed so no massive issue.

Located in the heart of Old Town Antalya, this historical hotel is a delight in every way. The staff are a wonderful team offering the most prestigious hospitality. From reception to dining, security and bar staff, their attention to detail and care for their guests was exceptional. After an 18-hour journey to this location, we arrived to our quaint yet luxurious room that was carefully planned with all the necessities and comforts of home. Accommodations were very clean and the room boasted super comfortable bedding and the best waterfall shower. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. It is surreal to see the ruins uncovered beneath this propertv. The heated outdoor pool is very clean and the relaxing ambiance poolside was incredible. The cuisine was authentic, fresh and delicious whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a wide selection of coffees and teas always made to perfection. Thanks to each individual staff member who complimented our stay with their positive and friendly demeanour. A spectacular and unforgettable stay. Already planning to return!!

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in our lives. Rooms and the entire place was exactly as depicted on the internet. The rooms were very spacious, clean and hygienic. The bathroom was very nice. The outside area and the pool area were very beautifully decorated by natural plants and beautiful wooden infrastructure. The ambience of the entire property is very good. The staff are very kind and sweet and supportive about everything. We checked in early by 5 hours but they didn't charge anything. Housekeeping was done everyday without any reminder. The location is just too good. In the heart of kaleichi. The streets of the hotel were just mesmerizing. Would definitely book this hotel again on our next Turkey trip. I highly recommend this to everyone. If you are coming to Antalya just book this hotel, don't even think twice.
