The location was perfect! It was so good being able to use the “private” beach and facilities of the sister hotel a few minutes walk down the road! Having a taxi rank outside the hotel makes it so easy to be able to get a taxi and explore the area! All the staff are lovely and give you great recommendations for places to eat and drink at! The rooms and bathrooms are a little small but that didn’t bother us too much as we really were only in the room to shower and sleep and weren’t spending our days in there! Breakfast was great, large variety of options! All in all we loved our stay and had a great time :)

Nice, clean and spacious room with good A/C for the price. The hotel is in the perfect place: the beaches, the restaurants and the shopping street are all just a few steps away. Breakfast with options everyday. Underrated fact that you can use the pool and the beach of Akkan Beach Hotel, their sister-hotel for free and it's just a few minutes walk away.

The cheaper rooms have no view to the sea but it's OK since the sea is just a few steps away anyway. Pretty quiet during the night as it is not directly located over the busy street - though you might hear some drunk yougsters as they are coming home overnight.

The hotel is centrally located in Bodrum, it is a 10 minute walk to the likes of Bodrum Castle and the Old Bus Station. It is located right across from the beach and in a quiet area of town. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the rooms were quite big for Turkish standards. The bed was very comfortable also. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options to chose from. The local restaurants serve great food and hospitality also. But for me what made the experience 10/10 was the staff. Can the manager was fantastic throughout my stay. He was very pleasant and helpful, and spoke fluent English !! He was very knowledgeable about things to do locally and even dropped me off on his scooter to the bus station for my bus to the airport ! Overall I would definitely stay in the Akkan Hotel again, and look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel was right in front of the beach (50 meters). We booked the suite room, which had a lovely balcony with views of the sea and Bodrum castle. The host was kind, welcomimg and exceptionally helpful in answering all of our questions , giving us great advice of things to do in Bodrum, recommendations for restaurants. We needed to leave early each morning (before breakfast time) but the host was very generous to make arrangements for us. The price was right for us and met all our expectations. Highly recommend this stay mainly for the lovely warm vibes of the host.

A lovely small hotel near the beach. A spacious and comfortable room but it was a little noisy at times because it was located at the front of the hotel and people need to walk past your room to get to theirs. Sometimes people would wait around this area talking. The breakfast is excellent and of a high standard. The staff are lovely and helpful. You can access the beach with umbrellas and sun lounges for no charge a bit further down near Akkan sister hotel Akkan Beach Hotel. There are some great mezze restaurants about 170 metres away down picturesque alleys if you tire of kebabs, hamburgers, pasta etc, that are excellent with great vegetarian options.

- Very good location - Very good Turkish breakfast - Staff is beyond helpful, friendly and most of them speak good English - Unlimited bottled water provided to us - If you're spending most of your day outside, then this hotel is top value - Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and belongings are tidied up (a nice bonus since my friends are messy) everyday

I'm being nitpicky, but these were the only 2 negatives I could think of: - One of the rooms we booked (out of 3) had an AC unit that wasn't very good at cooling. The staff tried cleaning the filter, but it was just an old unit. They said it would be upgraded in the future. - There is a small step (3 cm higher than the ground) between the bathroom and the bedroom that is very dangerous as almost all of our party tripped on it at some point during our stay. I mention this because my friend almost twisted his knee after tripping on it the first day. All 3 rooms we booked had this "feature".

The staff were excellent and air conditioning helped with heat.

The photo of my bedroom on booking.com was not the bedroom I paid for. your picture on this email is also not the hotel. Very misleading.

The arranged transport was slick when staff came down the block to receive us from the cab. Staff were extremely helpful and could help us find better areas to buy things at the best prices. The room is ADORABLE to the level of romantic. Close to beach. Easy to get to big farmer's markets, museums, port, and shopping all on foot. Very generous and high quality breakfast offerings of a great variety of options. Cats patrol the property well.

Non-smokers may 'get a wiff' now and then but this is more of the local culture and not a fault of this hotel. The cats ignore you if you ignore them if you have that cat allergy problem.

The hotel is by the beach and many shops and restaurants are nearby. Despite the central location, sound isolation was good. The staff are friendly and helpful! Our room was spacious with a little balcony - we really enjoyed it! AC worked well and saved us in the heat :)

The carpet in the hallway needs cleaning, it was quite stained. Also some drawers on the staircase looked broken. Taps and shower in the bathroom were rusty and need to be replaced. The hotel has no elevator, so if you come with big luggage it might be challenging to drag it to and from your floor.
