I stayed for a week with my mum and it was amazing, I will be recommending it to family and friends looking to visit Bodrum. The apartment was great value for money and we were lucky to end up in one with our small “private garden”. Beautiful sea views and good furnishing. Great location, 10 minutes from Gumbet beach, 15/20 minutes from the Marina and a short drive to Bitez beach. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. I hope to come back soon!

I loved the location but being up on the hill you have to walk up and down quite a lot in the heat or take a taxi. Still worth it if you’re physically fit / don’t have mobility issues.

Apartments were lovely gorgeous views. 10 mins walk to the left was Bodrum Marina and 10 mins walk to the right was Gumbet. Pool lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful. Taxis were very cheap and readily available

I found that the beds were very hard but that's just me. Kitchen facilities were basic 1 knife but 20 tea spoons! We travelled with 2 teenagers boy and girl and 2nd bedroom was a double so 1 had to sleep in the living room.

The apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, tidy, spacious, and tastefully decorated, complete with a private balcony with a staggeringly beautiful view of the bay, especially at sunset. The hotel is located close to the old windmills, which offer even more stunning views of the coast. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need for extended stays or if you simply prefer to cook your own meals. There's even a Nespresso machine with a few complementary pods. There's free parking, and a swimming pool too. Degirmenburnu balances practicality with beauty. This is a place that's delightful to stay at even if you don't really need the practicalities it offers.

The hotel and apartments are fabulous, no complaints there. However, the proximity of the windmills is both a blessing and a curse. It appears to be used as a drinking/party spot at night, and it can get a little loud. Other than that, the only thing missing from the kitchen is a microwave.

Close to centre and to a taxi stand on a winding road with beautiful views of the Gümbet beach looking far into the sea. If you are staying at the up the hill blocks as I did before, you will also see the windmills on the ridge climbing up the peninsula. It is my third time staying there..

It is near to lively locations in the bays downhill and it can collect a lot of secondary sounds coming up on weekends. The window insulations are good and the sounds stop sometime in the late in the evening. Keeping windows closed this did not really disturb us, but if you are very particular about calm environment you might reconsider.

We had a perfect five night stay at Degirmenburnu Residence. The apartments are very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. All the appliances and furnishings are modern and in perfect condition. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was perfect for us. We didn’t have a car but the complex is on the Bardakci dolmus route. The beach is a 10 minute walk, Migros is 15-30 min walk, and the centre of Bodrum is approximately 20-30min walk. There is a gorgeous sunset spot just 5 mins walk from the complex. Highly recommend for a relaxing and quiet stay in Bodrum. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Bodrum! Thanks all :)

Excellent value. As a family of 5, we stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with panoramic views of Bodrum. The views are incredible! As other reviewers have mentioned, the beds and amenities in the apartment are very basic. But, we didn't spend much time in the unit, so it worked perfectly for us. Easy parking and 24 hour reception. And the pool was awesome and we never had trouble finding pool chairs - generally it was completely empty! Easier walk into Gumbet than Bodrum, but with the heat, we ended up just driving everywhere.

The fridge didn't ever get really cold. And shampoo/body wash would have been appreciated. As well as some sugar/creamers for the espresso in the morning.

The apartment was HUGE with 2 beautiful rooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony with a big table, a kitchenette, and a living room. It was very spacious and comfortable. We were overlooking the harbour which was beautiful. Since we had a car, getting to different areas was not a problem. The area had a lot of grocery stores. Most of the restaurants were by the harbour which was a 15 minute walk.

Although we had a washing machine, there was no powder or tablets. We had to buy a huge packet of detergent (small packets aren't available) for a matter of 3 days. No full length mirror and one of the rooms didn't have a mirror at all.

View was incredible and it was a spacious apartment, comfortable for 4 people to stay in. It was also close to the taxi stand, so it was easy to get around wherever we wanted to

The beds could have been more comfortable and the kitchen could have included basic things like coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, etc.

Degirmenburnu Residence has the perfect location overlooking Bodrum with breathtaking sea views. It’s very close to the beach and the city centre.The facilities in the residence are very clean and modern.The apartment was very well equipped.The only apartment that we have ever rented with a sea view from every corner. It’s a big plus that the swimming pool is with sea water and whilst you are in the pool you enjoy the sea view. Many thanks to the staff who were very helpful, kind and professional . We can’t wait to come back!

There is nothing to dislike.

Very comfortable upper floor apartment with great view of Gumbet harbour and the Windmills from the balcony. Very comfortable bed, great shower, great kitchen facilities with coffee machine. Very friendly helpful staff and lovely swimming pool. Close enough to Gumbet harbour for boat trips from there, and also close enough to walk to Bodrum city and marina. The soundproofing door to the balcony blocked out the noise from the road. Lovely place, didn't want to leave. I will be back!

The lighting in the apartment is ceiling spotlights only, which can be a bit harsh. Some softer lighting options would be nice. And more kitchen utensils such as chopping board, cooking pots, and tea-towels are required. Also needs laundry soap and dishwasher soap and cleaning products, so that the guests don't have to buy everything every time and then only use a small amount during their stay. Also a small basin or plug for the kitchen sink for washing dishes, this would help save water. And please put in recycling bins! Otherwise, lovely.
