Nice resort hotel with good amenities and a relaxed feel. Evening entertainment was good, the folk dancers in particular were excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location next to the water-taxi into central Bodrum was very convenient and there are many sights of interest to visit. A short stroll from the hotel gets you to the historic windmills and viewpoint and the old city wall walk. When we left early for a daytrip to Ephasus, reception organised breakfast-boxes for us to take.

The greeting at our arrival was a bit gruff but this member of staff was not typical. The room (in the residence adjoining but not in the hotel) was dirty and poorly maintained with broken light-fittings, microwave, front door and missing batteries from the AC controls. However, when we brought these deficiencies to the attention of the guest relations team, reparation was made apologetically and swiftly. So, after a disappointing start, we had nothing but praise and our stay was very comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The receptionists, Shilan and Kamuran, were absolutely amazing—so kind, professional, and always ready to help. They truly made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The portions were generous, and every meal felt like it was prepared with care. All the staff I encountered were warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The spa is huge and beautifully maintained, with an authentic hammam that adds a special touch of relaxation to the stay. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service, friendly staff, excellent food, and top-notch wellness facilities.

However, the hotel itself is in need of renovation, starting from the entrance through to the rooms. Our first night was difficult as the AC wasn’t working properly, making it hard to sleep, and the lighting in the room could use improvement as it lacked proper lamps. While the service from individual staff members was excellent, the overall facilities need attention to match the hospitality provided. With some upgrades, this hotel has the potential to be truly outstanding.

Expensive Apartment £3500 for 10 nights) seemed neglected when we arrived. Floor was dirty as our bare feet testified. No top sheets on the beds just a blanket. Had to help ourselves after 2 days. Swimming pool surround neglected plants were dead in pots. Asked for extra hairdryers (3ladies staying). Only one provided. Asked for parasol for huge terrance- were not allowed one although there was a parasol base. Only 2 sun beds on terrace even though apartment apparently sleeps up to 5. Asked for a taxi to collect us at the residence as one of our group disabled. Told to walk down to taxi rank.

Been guests of the hotel for years. Great location, land and sea accessibility. Well equipped spa and other utilities. Beautiful view of gulf of Bodrum (if payed). Family friendly. Used to be the most loveable hotel in Bodrum.

Quality's been falling the last couple of years. Opening doors to our rooms has been a challenge, cards did not work properly. To get to the Spa area had to go around because of they closed one of the doors. The quality and selection of food were poorer than before. The waiters did not pay attention to guests especially in the mornings. There was no smoke free area outside of the building. Not on the beach, in grill bar or main restaurant, or on balcony belonging to the room. After so many years this last visit was a disappointment.

We are extremely happy with our stay! They have a great staff who are always looking to make you feel more than wonderful! Special thanks to the guys from the restaurant Tanner and Janner who made our dinners at the restaurant unforgettable! The location is good! Since we stayed in March I can't say anything about the beach because it wasn't warm enough for a beach! The hotel seems to me to be a typical Turkish style, so maybe most people think it doesn't deserve 5 stars, but I definitely have a different opinion! The food is uniquely delicious, the rooms were decently clean! They have probably the best mattresses because you sleep like a little baby! A spacious hotel room! I recommend! I would come back here again!

There were not that many guests in the hotel during our stay and I wonder why we were all room to room with over 800 rooms available because I was not happy with the other hotel guests! There is no noise insulator in the rooms and you can hear absolutely everything that happens in the room next to you! And that's exactly what I didn't like about my stay here, as I could hear the other tourists all the time and for some reason these people keep making noise in the late hours and they don't make noise from.. you know what but they just clearly can't keep their behinds in peace!

Ac system is not good

We stayed with my mom for a week, and I must say the hotel is a good place for a family vacation. The workers were super nice and polite, always ready to help. We opted for the all-inclusive option at the beginning of our stay. Additionally, the view of the seaside was very beautiful, and the hotel is located in a great spot, close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring.

The meals were good initially, but we noticed that some of them became greasy over time. It seemed like the hotel might have been cutting costs on meals because some were repetitive and not very fresh. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay there.

Everything was very professionally run. The food served at the buffet was excellent and all the staff super friendly. I will certainly recommend you.

The Poseidon seafood dinner for $125 was a total ripoff. It was the worst food we ever had in the whole of Bodrum. You should not continue with it as it besmirches Salmakis good name.

I used to stay in a nearby hotel,so I know Salmakis from before,the hotel needs renovation,but restaurant , food and service are very good,pool area very nice and well kept

The hotel has specific architecture and if they put you in room starting with 8..,then you have quite a lot to learn,how to get to the restaurant,pool and beach along the long corridors.As foreigners and traveling alone without organized group we were put as far away as possible,but the room was large and nice with spectacular view. The safe in the room was out of order and I complained twice at the reception,but nobody came to fix it or bring another one.
