Absolutely Outstanding Experience – Felt Like Family! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I recently stayed at Farina Hotel by Cigno in Istanbul for 3–4 days, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences of my life. I was more than 110% satisfied with everything – from the staff to the location, hospitality, and overall comfort. First and foremost, I want to highlight the incredible receptionist, Mohsen. He was the heart of our stay – always welcoming, respectful, extremely helpful, and genuinely treated us like family. As tourists, we had many questions and needed guidance, and Mohsen was always eager and happy to assist without a moment of hesitation. His kind and gentle nature made it easy for us to feel comfortable and relaxed. I honestly felt sad leaving the hotel because it felt like I was leaving a brother behind. Another amazing team member was Süleyman (whose name carries the meaning of a wise leader or ruler in Turkish). He was a supportive and friendly person who always helped us with anything we needed. Also, Muhammet, another receptionist (he wears glasses), was always smiling and treated us warmly every time we spoke to him. His positive and welcoming attitude made a big difference in our stay. I also want to sincerely thank the hotel manager, who kindly assisted us one day with his car drop-off – that thoughtful gesture really stood out. Their hospitality is a full 10/10. We never felt like guests in a hotel; we truly felt like part of a family. Every moment was made easier by the amazing staff, who showed full professionalism and went above and beyond. Even after we left, I felt connected and called the hotel just to say thank you – that’s how close the bond felt. The location is also perfect! Restaurants are just behind the hotel, and the Grand Bazaar is only a 20-minute walk away. Everything you need — food, shopping, transport — is within easy reach.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. I’d like to share our impressions, as they might be helpful to other travelers. Positives: The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and were happy to assist with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a nice variety of options. The hotel’s location is excellent – easily accessible and close to many attractions. We especially appreciated the tasty tea available free of charge throughout the day. The price included access to the wellness area – unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this in advance, so we didn’t come prepared to use it. Our room was cleaned daily, the bed was made every day, and we received fresh, clean towels regularly.

The espresso machine was out of order, so only Turkish coffee was available, which wasn’t really to our taste. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy due to traffic, especially at night. We stayed in the family room, where the toilet tank was constantly running – not loud, but noticeable. Hopefully, this has been fixed since. At 182 cm (about 6 feet) tall, I found the shower a bit cramped and had some trouble fitting comfortably under it. Summary: Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others. The friendly service, cleanliness, and thoughtful little touches made our visit memorable. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we’d gladly return in the future.

Their manager, Mr. Murat was extremely helpful during our stay with our transfers and all the little info we needed about our stay and travel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The view is amazing! Breakfast was diverse and morning staff was very warm and friendly. I recommend staying here to everyone - family, friends, couples or even solo - you would feel like being at home. Also, you can use their spa center for free (additional charges for massages).

The staff are very friendly and polite, easygoing to communicate with. Safety and cleanliness are perfect in the rooms and the hotel itself. Quality of food ( breakfast): buffet changebel and deserves to try. Location and views: excellent choice to avoid wasting time in traffic jams. Historical mosques, museums, shopping.. etc are easy to reach. Price: very good deal compared to the mentioned advantages and to the other offers.

Great location. There are some nice parks near the Hotel where you can chill in the evening when you are tired after visiting some places in the city. For the first night we did not get the family room we have booked, but the manager offered us two other rooms near each other, so it was ok for us to keep the rooms until we moved out. The rooms were good in size with excellent view on the city and the beautiful Suleymaniye Mosque. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Good Wi-Fi connection.

The hotel needs some maintenance and some small repairs need to be done. The noise from the vehicles on the road at night. Not enough space in the buffet area at the peak time.

Lovely design-style hotel right at the Roman viaduct. Very clean, very well-connected - bus stops 1 min walk from the entrance, metro stations 7 min walk, Bosphorus 7-8 min walk. Free sauna every day for hotel customers, nice reception. Good shower with hot water 24/7, also a safe box in the room.

The window does not open fully, it is not possible to just open the window and turn off aircon. Noise from buses and cars 24/7 even with a closed window. Breakfast is very limited, you have to ask for any hot food and you can't know the menu for the day, it is not written anywhere at all so you don't know what they have at all. Otherwise it's just some vegetables and musli flakes and they are too fast to take everything away even 15 min before the end of breakfast. The ladies at breakfast service are not very friendly, do not understand English well, unfortunately. Otherwise all is well.

I stayed at Farina Hotel By Cigno at the end of July 2024 and highly recommend it. The hotel is centrally located in Istanbul, within a 15-20 minute walk to top tourist attractions and shopping streets. There are also bus stops and tram stations nearby, and taxis can be arranged at any time. The service is outstanding. The staff is friendly, respectful, and attentive to every guest's needs, speaking several languages, including Turkish, English, Kurdish, Arabic, and Russian. When my elderly parents arrived early, the reception provided a temporary room and a complimentary meal. Later, when they fell unwell, the staff quickly arranged a doctor's visit. Some parts of the rooms show signs of wear and tear, but it's clear that the owners are diligently working on these issues, ensuring that all visitors' needs are met. Their efforts are visible and greatly appreciated.

Location is very good, next to Aqueducts of Istanbul, 15 min far from Grand bazar. Staff of the hotel was very helpful and professional especially frontdesk guys. Good fresh juice is offered for breakfast and all day long.

Limited and same choice of food for breakfast. Cleaning of the rooms should be more detailed with daily change of towels. Cats should be kept out of restaurant area.

Hotel is not a luxury brand new hotel owned by an international chain. Therefore, do not expect international standardized services. Nevertheless, the quality of services are really appreaciate & enough for a nice stay.

The presentation of the breakfast should be upgrade even if it does not matter with the quality.
