We had a nice stay at Seyri Istanbul Hotel. The reception is at a separate entrance, right next to the main door. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the owner was very kind. When we had to leave early for the airport before breakfast time, he even bought us some bread to take with us — such a thoughtful gesture!

Unfortunately, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, even though it was actually clean. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but not a big issue since we had mobile data.

Perfect location, all sightseeings are near, kettle available, beds are clean, shampoo, soap included. For breakfast meal is basic (in portions), still it is more than enough - for almost nothing you get good service. One should admit some old "grandfather" smoking all the time. Despite he doesn't speak English, anyway he does his best to serve you. In my case he prolonged my stay for one night and gave good price. No idea if he is owner or not, in my opinion he should be a "legend" in that hotel. Best memories for me and best wishes for the hotel.

The hotel was overall good and the staff were friendly. However, the room could use some upgrades – especially the door and the air conditioning unit, which struggled to cool the room during the summer heat. Also, the area gets very quiet at night, so it's not ideal if you're planning to stay out late, though it does feel safe. With a few improvements, this place could be much better.

I went on a backpacking trip with some friends and and after having a nightmarish experience in a nearby hotel we found this one in a hurry, we came with no expectations just trying to have a place to stay for one night but we ended staying here for the whole trip. The service was really good and although the owner did not speak English we managed to comunicate well enough to have our needs meet and we were allowed to checkout late without an issue. It was a good accommodation for the money and well located .

For low budget you can not expectations more. They are doing very well in this hotel, kindness, cleaness wifi, breakfast, etc. Everything is almost excellent especially the management team they treat you like a family member. They gave me a room with balcony thanks.. Ahmed from Algeria and Canada

The location is great and close to public transportation. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well-equipped with everything needed, including a private bathroom, a heater, and hot water always available

The room was very clean. The neighborhood was really safe and surprisingly vibrant and there are two main reasons for it. It is near the university so in the mornings it is full of young students and cafes and at night there is a famous shop that sells boza and it makes the nights colorful with people and lights so thanks to that you can enjoy a walk late at night. The location is perfect. It has easy access to almost every important place like Taksim. Breakfast was acceptable. We had a small financial problem (a little error in an app) which was handled professionally.

The stairs are not suitable for old people.
