The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Many spoke English. When we mentioned concerns with our room(s) they moved us with no hesitation. The communal areas of the hotel are amazing, traditional / old style. Nice view of the Bosphorus from the dining/breakfast area. Great public transport links, but away from the busy centre of Istanbul. Friendly local shops and cafe's etc.

The air-con was not working and our room only had an internal facing window, making it very warm, 28C. On the second night we were moved to another room with windows to the street, but the room was tiny. On the third night we were moved to a reasonable size room with windows to the street. The rooms were clean (daily room service) but the decor was in need of updating/refreshing. It seemed like they were in the process of decorating some of the rooms, probably in readiness for the summer season.

Very very nice. Wait staff was very professional. Restaurants in the hotel were lovely. Beautiful hotel. Marble throughout. Loved the hotel.

Air conditioning could be much better. That was a big issue for us. Each room was given only one key to open the door. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel.

A beautiful hotel, with staff that provide excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble.

The location, because it was only me and my 20 year old granddaughter there isn't much about the local area, although we were able to get the ferry and visit other parts of Istanbul.

Such a beautiful and opulent hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Clean and comfortable.

In Room 113 the internet service was weak. However, it was lovely to sit in their comfortable lounge and use the internet there with a turkish tea.

Breakfast is quite good. There are not so many options, but the quality is really high, and you will get all that you need. There is a nice terrace where you can have a cup of tea or coffee.

Definitely, tea for guests should be free. The pool is small, and the water is cold. It is more decorative.

The only problem is with WiFi. The connectivity was the worst. Even unable to make a WhatsApp call and sometimes not suitable for SMS also. The hotel authority had added additional security for WiFi, however they forgot to improve the connectivity. This was not my solo problem. This is common for other travellers also.

The location, architecture and scenery are unique. The historical building has been restored very well and the decoration is done in the appropriate dose for the building. Having its own parking lot is a great convenience. The breakfast is not very rich but sufficient.

The room facing the atrium where we stayed was very small and hot. Although we requested a low pillow beforehand, we were told that there was only one type of pillow. The feeling I got while staying was as if it was closing at the end of the season and we were the last customers to come. We had no contact with any staff other than check-in and check-out.

Fuat Pasa Yalisi well exceeded our expectations. Breakfast and restaurant were excellent. We stayed in a room with sea view, which had a fab view of Istanbul. This is certainly one of my top hotels to visit again when I'm in Istanbul next.

Some of the city-view rooms were a bit too small, that's why we upgraded our rooms, and are very pleased with the new rooms.

Location is good right on the Bosphorus. Breakfast buffet had good selection and nice fresh juice. Easy to park with free valet. Nice traditional ottoman palace type decor.

The sound proofing is not very good and as most rooms have a window into the lobby atrium which leads to the function room, at the weekends when they host wedding parties is crazy noisey till past midnight. Can Clarke hear music, people talking and kids playing till 1am. With the bedrooms over this space they need to address this issue or nee the doors closed and have strict policies about partying in the atrium area. My kids had school the next day and couldn’t sleep till midnight.
