Friendly, super comfortable and modern. Very helpful and friendly staff. Walkable and close to public transport.

Serious mosquito problem in the building. Killed maybe 5-6 in our room the first night and still we got lots of bites.

Staff were very friendly and highly attentive. Location is very handy for public transport. The common area on the top floor was very relaxing and has a great view. Room was very clean and everything worked

Being on the floor below the terrace meant that we could hear every time someone moved a chair. This was a problem, when children from another room decided to use it as a play area at 2am! We mentioned this to the staff and the problem did not occur again

Very nice brand new homestyle hotel in a very good location near Capitol mall and metro station. Not a crowdy place! I always say that the prosperity of a business is based on its people! The hotel is very nice, clean, with big rooms, and big showers. The floor in the room is covered with laminate (not stone) meaning you have a warm floor. I also was surprised to see water batterie, it means the owner cares about his respective guests during cool days. Housekeeping is also top quality. Thank you, guys for GREAT staying in the Grand Uskudar Hotel!!!

The location of the hotel is just a short walk to Altinizade Metro station (exit 5) which makes it excellently situated when visiting Istanbul. It is also only a few hundred metres from a large, well-appointed shopping mall which contains a supermarket, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel desk is attended 24 hours and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room that we were originally given contained a jacuzzi which we didn’t really want or need and which significantly reduced the available floor space. We requested a room change which was readily facilitated; our replacement room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was good in the rooftop restaurant.

There are no lifts in the hotel, which may be limiting for some.

The hotel is rather small, but good enough for unpretentious travelers. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, ben linen white and fresh. There is 24-hours reception which is very useful for travelers arriving at night. Wi-fi is fast. Metro station in 5 mins walk, Capitol mall in 10 mins walk. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great thanks to Volkan! He was very nice and helpful, always smiling. Thank you, Volkan, for your help during my stay in the hotel.

There is one thing which was not mentioned in the booking (at least I did not realized it) and is missing in the hotel, which was a quite unpleasant surprise for me on arrival with a heavy luggage: there is no lift in the hotel. In my opinion hotel should inform about it . The other thing is that there are not many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity.

The location was good. Close to the metro and a mall with a nice food court. Some cafe's near by also. The staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, nice shower, the ac unit worked well.

The breakfast was a very simple Turkish breakfast. Sound from the rooms next door were easily heard. The bathroom was very small although others had bigger ones. There is not an elevator, only stairs for the 3 floors which would be difficult for the elderly or small children.

Cleaning staff was good, and rooms were clean.

Car parking was not good. No reception area for sitting.

The friendly staff seem anxious to please. The hotel is close to the metro. The room was well planned and well appointed including a fridge, air con and storage spaces. The room, bedding and towels were very clean. The shower was excellent. Tea and coffee and water were provided in the room.

Our big issue was that the hotel took our full payment immediately on booking despite saying we would pay on arrival. Despite my messages and booking.com trying to resolve this the hotel never replied. Breakfast was good on day 1 but it was identical every day. At night the room smoke alarm flashed every 2 seconds. The main road passes close by and the promised "sound proofing" was unsatisfactory. The wifi was very intermittent. It was often unavailable and kept giving me warnings about hackers. The in room lighting was far too bright and subtle bedside lamps would have solved this.

Location was good and stuff was very kind.
