Very comfy hotel at the great location Kadikoy. Many local cafeteria and shops. Very good location to feel authenticity of Istanbul. Carsi is also very close, which is a must visit place in the evenings. We saw a few tourists, but overall significantly less than in Fatih for example. Also it is close to the shore to take the ferry or metro or havaist bus. Need to note that room cleaning was really good. Breakfast is fine, good enough to have something in the morning. Lady at the dining is very friendly.

Room was a little smaller than in pictures, but it’s not critical, since most of the time in Istanbul is outside. The staff at the reception is not very friendly for some reason. Had a feeling that they don’t really like foreigners. Even though we could speak Turkish. Like come on, you work at hotel in Istanbul. Be nice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing 5-day stay at Life Hotel in Istanbul, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff - Miraziz, Özhan, and Mert - were incredibly attentive and helpful, covering 24-hour shifts to ensure I felt at home and easily navigated the city. Each one went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The breakfast experience was equally delightful. The breakfast lady was welcoming and sweet, with a versatile and delicious spread each morning, including her homemade soups - a perfect start to my days! Housekeeping also did a fantastic job, keeping my room spotless, and I loved the fresh scent of the towels and bedsheets. I also had the privilege of meeting the owner, who greeted me with a warm, genuine smile. My five days flew by thanks to the comfort and warmth of this lovely bunch - they felt like a new family. Life Hotel truly lives up to its name, making life so much brighter. Highly recommended!

Couldn’t have better location than this in Kadikoy. Is close to ferry station and just a short walk away from bustling centre of the town. Beautiful building and extremely helpful staff made us our stay enjoyable.

Size of the room. We lived in double deluxe room and wished it was a tad bit bigger. Quite congested possibly because it is in the heart of town. But they mote than made up with prompt service and delicious breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect— easy to explore all the main attractions. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests and provide great recommendations. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and I truly enjoyed my experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Nothing to complain

The property location was excellent it was very close from restaurants ,sweet shops , Mado and mini markets plus it was very close to the main street and bus stations although it was located in a quiet street. The design ,the decoration and the atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and comfortable .very classy and clean. The AC was working very well , the water power was excellent, the bed and pillows were comfortable

I have booked through booking.com 3 rooms they have charged my card for 1 room and the other 2 rooms no although there was no issue with my credit card , i called them and told them to keep my booking and when i come to the hotel ill pay there and they said no issue, next day i have received an email that my 2 rooms booking has been cancelled i recalled them and told them why did you cancel my booking they said we have to cancel they booked again the same 2 rooms with higher rate which was not fair and correct. There should be more lights in the rooms as its soo dark and the faulty ones should be changed There was no trash bin in the room which was so strange One more thing to add the breakfast time is from 8-10 am only 2 hours and the bread was already finished at 9:15 am

Staff is great. Location is cool, if you like the district you will like the hotel. ferry port is near, bus station is near, a lot of cafes and restaurants around. The room is great for such small hotels. Breakfast is standard. So hotel is totally worth the money.

The hotel situated like 2 minutes away from the ferry boat station, so all we needed to take pleasant trip to historical part of Istanbul. The Kadiköy place 5 min away. On the same street with hotel were couple of fast food places and baklava shop. And yet it was very quiet in the night. About 100 m away there is hammam, which was very authentic. The young men on reception were extreamly nice, correct and polite. The room cleaning and towel change was every day, thow we tried not to throw towels down, but there no place to dry them, so it might be a good thing. Shampoo and toothbrush + paste were in shower room. Tea was available all day round in hotel hall. Breakfast was nice, bread, tea/coffee, local cheese, juices, vegetables, cookies. Different from usual european's, but I was nicely suprised to have lentile soup on breakfast. 2 big metro/bus stations are in 20 min walk away.

Very clean environment and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good with quite a variety of foods. Beds was comfortable.

The rooms were a bit small with limited space to put your stuff. The passage between the bed and the table was pretty narrow. The table or desk could just fit my computer, but then I had to put the kettle on the floor.

Istanbul Life hotel has been a great choice for us. The location is extremely convenient:just 3 minutes away from the pier and from the central bus station. All kinds of shops and restaurants are in a walking distance. As for the breakfast, it offered a variety of options and we didn't feel a rush, even a bit after the serving hours. Nothing special, but good enough and freshly cooked. The lady serving us was absolutely kind and helpful! Our *final* room was beautiful, very spacious and nicely decorated. However, at first we were assigned to another room which did not meet our expectations nor the website photos ( read more below ). After communicating our needs to the receptionist, they tried their best and offered us a much better room the next day. That room was delightful.

The standard room we had originally booked was not spacious as captured in the photos. It was actually extremely small, with not enough space for luggage, very few hangers and absolutely nowhere to place anything in the bathroom. If we had stayed there the experience would not have been the same.
