Cozy, comfortable, clean, very close to the Taksim metro station.

Please keep in mind that the hotel is in a lower part of the street, so it’s tough to climb back to Taksim, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, the street is a bit loud.

The accommodation is very close to Taksim sq in an area mostly used by locals, therefore an optimal place to stay for any kind of program. There are very good but cheap restaurants and groceries almost next door (do not go to Taksim for less quality and double the price!), also accepting debit cards. The room was clean (however, you have to ask for cleaning, leaving the key at the reception), personnel is relatively responsive and kind. Luggage can be left at the reception after checkout. We would return anytime.

We were supposed to get a full Turkish breakfast, but it was very limited throughout our stay possibly due to renovation or summer holidays - but at least it was delivered directly to our room. Only on the very last morning did they "open" the rooftop room where there was a fairly larger selection (and two seagulls sitting outside and checking our breakfast). Many times it was impossible to find anyone at the reception which might pose a problem if you're running late. On the other hand, if they are there they are really trying to help. To sum up, we had no major issues and had a really good time.

Excellent location, close to public transport connections in Taksim Square. Close to street food stalls, bars and restaurants. Very handy having a well stocked grocery shop next door (sold excellent baklava) and an off-license directly opposite.

It was a pity that the TV in the room did not work as planned to watch the last of the Olympics. But I later learnt that this was a street wide issue, not just this accommodation. Other than that, there was nothing I disliked about my stay here.

Stunning Views: The rooftop terrace boasts beautiful panoramic views of the city, perfect for relaxing and capturing memorable photos.

Accessibility Issues: The guesthouse lacks an elevator, which means guests must navigate multiple flights of stairs. This may not be suitable for older individuals or those with mobility challenges. Spartan Conditions: While the atmosphere is authentic, the accommodations are minimalist and may not meet the expectations of those seeking hotel-like luxury.

Nacre residence is a very good place to stay near Taksim meydan and istkilal cd. The property is simple, the room was really very good, nice decor, clean , well equiped and modern. The staff were friendly and i felt good staying there. The neighborhood is not touristic but has amenities like hostels and small restaurants , but you're only 3 mins away from the main square. The value is good and hope it stays that way, its a plus for Nacre residence.

The staff were very friendly and good to speak to. Also the place it self was very good location as it was right near shops and main town centre also. I liked the fact it had enough what I needed so it was enough. Recommended place if your travelling solo.

One thing I would like to add is the water wasn't working at one point so I couldn't use the shower facility at the end of my stay and was broken also. That was the only problem other than that it was fine,

The location of Nacre Residence is very good, close to Taksim square. There's a supermarket just a few metres up from the accommodation which was very convenient. The accommodation itself was comfortable, with a relatively steady WiFi. The host helped us with finding our airport shuttle driver the morning of departure which we appreciated.

A few things: bad lighting in the bathroom, low water pressure in the shower (sometimes the water just stopped), stained linen and only one drinking glass for two people. The street is quite loud (and this was during the week) till very late at night. If you struggle sleeping with noise I would definitely suggest earplugs.

The staff was excellent, Ilkin, Ibrahim, and the owner Serap were really nice people, I spent more time talking with them than in my room whenever I was finishing with the day. The room was cozy. You should expect what you paid for.

There's not much to mention here.

Great location, fun part of town, surprisingly quiet given how near it is to Taksim Square. The amenities were more than enough, and the value was absolutely incredible. Strong and steady Wi-Fi, unobtrusive staff, clean enough if you're not overly fussy, just about perfect for a five-night stay within easy reach of most anywhere. Also, soaps included in the bathroom, which saved me having to buy some myself.

There is a small climb involved in getting from the hotel to Taksim Square, not difficult for an able-bodied person but may be worth being careful about (rather helpfully you get to walk downhill on the way back in the evening, which is preferable to it being the other way around). Also, I accidentally jostled the shower door out of its rail but that's more on me than the actual hotel room.

Incredible staff! Most interactions were with the reception rep, Iilkin, who made my stay so comfortable and safe; the guy truly had my back in all sense of the word. He went way above and beyond of expectations. I can't say enough good things about him! Thank you, Ilkin, for being there for me!

As a senior, the spiral staircase was a bit daunting; however, Ilkin helped me, carried my luggage. bathroom fixtures are very old and dated.
