The apartment is nice and clean, and have all of the basic necesseties. Cleaning service is very good, it is on everyday basis. The hosts are nice and friendly and were available 24/7. The area was quite safe during our stay. There are bus stop and metro in 10-minute-walk distance. There are also good shops and cafes nearby that are open all day long.

However, there are some disadvantages related to the location, though it may be true for many parts of Istanbul. It is a quite steepy area, so if you need to reach popular touristic attractions/public transport, you have to climb approximately 50 m incline (in equivalent). The streets are also quite littered in that area. It is also may be very noisy at night because of the motocyclists and the mosque right next to the place.

The value for money is unbeatable, especially considering how expensive Istanbul has become. The location is very handy. Although as other reviewers have mentioned it’s in a neighbourhood with considerably steep hills (not an issue for us), and first impressions can be a bit “back alley” but we soon realised that the area is very safe. The room was very clean and there was a daily “tidy up”. The double bed was big and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful (despite us not having a language in common).

The lack of hot (or even warm) water for the shower. The washbasin hot tap worked perfectly but unfortunately there seems to be an issue with this same hot water piping through to the shower. Of minor importance but worth mentioning: The nearest mosque is close by and therefore you definitely notice the call to morning prayer.

The room was big. The place is near Taxim square but have in mind you have to climb if you want to reach the touristic places. The quarter is interesting, you can feel the local way of living. It looks safe. The streets are lighted and there are people till late in the evening. There are small shops and places for eating around open till late in the evening. There is a mosque next to the place and have in mind there is singing each morning at 5 o'clock with loud speakers.

The budget studio is on -2. There is something like a small yard in front of the room and a big window. But there was an unpleasant smell of canal and moisture in the corridor and the bathroom. If you keep the door of the bathroom closed it can be ok. I complained for the smell but they did not care at all. The room is good but getting shabby. The drain of the the shower gets clogged , the tiles are cracked. There was holes in the towels. The good thing there are changed each day.

The room was quite spacious, there were all things necessary available. We had accesss to the terrace, the table there was oldish, but it was still nice to drink tea and beers there in the evenings. Wifi was working well. When we closed the window it was enough to keep the street noise out. The apartements' staff was polite and helpful. The rooms are cleaned regularly.

Practically everything in the apartments met our expectations. One has to bear in mind, though, that to get to the metro at the Taksim square one has to go up the hill, this is of course, not the apartment's fault, but I think it might be an important bit of information. Also, as stated on the apartements booking page, floor 4 does not have access to the elevator, but you can use it to get to floor 3, so it is ok.

Nice quiet location, but just a short walk to Taksim and İstiklal Avenue. Spacious room with small balcony, although not a great view was still nice to have. Kitchenette was fine and we used the hot plate, kettle and fridge. Shower very good, lots of hot water. Comfortable bed. The staff are great! Mustafa was especially helpful and kind. He checked us in when we arrived at 1.30am. He also helped by printing some travel documents for us. All in all, a good stay.

Only one thing would be for the room to have a toaster and microwave

The location was close to the CBD, maximum 10 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and the accommodation was great value for location & amenities (stove top, fridge, ect). There is a supermarket around the corner, so you can easily save money on food. I’m a solo young female traveler and a felt safe staying there.

You really can’t complain for the value, However the area is a bit “downtown” there are some interesting beggars and a lot of trash in the area, but that isn’t the hotels fault- just the neighbourhood.

The hotel was great, and we got what we paid for: a good studio with one large bed and one single bed, a fridge, kitchen essentials (spoons, dishes, and many other things), a TV, a wardrobe, an air conditioner, and many other amenities. The bathroom was great. The reception staff were extremely polite, especially the young guy who works the night shift—he was always smiling and super polite. He is one of the best people we met in Istanbul. The hotel was very quiet, comfortable, and peaceful. Overall, I loved it. Everything was super clean. The hotel is very near Taksim Square, about a 5-minute walk, and also near the metro station, also about a 5-minute walk. There are restaurants and a grocery shop right next to the hotel. I recommend it for families and couples; you will love it. I just want to let people know that the street where the hotel is located is a traditional Turkish street. It is totally safe, and the people there are very polite. The majority of people in the area are Turkish, so it's not like those business streets full of buildings and 5-star hotels. It’s a modest, traditional street, but everyone is polite, helpful, and most importantly, it's super safe.

Excellent

That is an excellent aesthetic design. It looks fresh, new and top quality in every detail - expensive doors and windows with perfect sound insolation, a comfortable bed, a place to work with a laptop, perfect wi-fi, kitchen facility, and silent air conditioning in the very right place. Windows with maskit mesh. Good strong and warm shower. Fantastic service - free late take-in, shampoo, towels. No any uncomfortable smells, sounds other distractions. Perfect location - Direct bus line from the airport; Million markets, cafes, and shops around. I take off my hat to the one who organized all this and managed to foresee it.

It was a nice place with sufficient room size. The staff was friendly, and put on effort to communicate and with the help The location near Taksim is quite strategic since it's near to many public transport access.

The location is below a slope from Taksim Square. When heading there, it's quite nice, but when heading out, you'll need to climb the slope. Not too big of a problem if you travel light, but if you carry a lot of suitcases, you might want to consider taking a taxi when leaving.
