Room is Spacious, have good furniture, clean and the bed is comfortable, it has a good kitchenette with some kitchen tools. Staff are responsive and very helpful through whatsApp messages (as they were not present most of the time), they received many shipment deliveries on my behalf. Location is few minutes walk from the popular Taksim Square. There are many nearby supermarkets and restaurants.

Stairs are very steep and it was hard a bit to go up the 1st floor specially when carry heavy things (there is no Elevator), also going down with our heavy travel bags when we were leaving was harder. Toilette had a continuous bad smell for unknown reason, also the toilette is small compared to the room size

– Mold between bathroom tiles – Dusty radiators – The first day the heating warmed up the room for a very long time, I had to sleep and freeze. The rest of the days the room was warm and comfortable.

The wifi, bed and hot shower were fabulous. The kitchenette was great. Clean. Fabulous location. Fab grocery shop round the corner. Ali at reception and the staff were fantastic. Very helpful. Thank you for a great 3 days.

The hotel is in a great location, right near Taksim Square, which made it easy to explore Istanbul — everything was within walking distance or a short ride away. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day out in the city. What really stood out, though, was the warm and professional service. Hotel manager Ali Agirman was especially helpful and welcoming. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and made my stay feel personal and cared for. Even though the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, everything else made up for it — great hospitality, perfect location, and a comfortable environment. I highly recommend Marida Hotel and will definitely stay here again when I return to Istanbul.

The location is good, altough the streets might not look safe for people who don't know Istanbul, but no worries, It is safe. The room is spacious and the balcony is extra point. It looks similar to the photos. It is close to metro and Istiklal and many-many shops around.

The bathroom could be a bit more cleaner and some maintenance would help, but overall no issue at all. I knew that Taksim mosque is close but note for others: 5am pray is really loud and if you are not used to it, you will wake up definitely each morning.

Our trip was not business but we had an important business meeting in Istanbul and the location of the hotel was very close to the meeting place and this was the first advantage. The price of the hotel was very affordable and made us decide to book 6 nights instead of 4 nights. The staff and receptionists were very warm and well behaved. And they were fluent in English, which made us able to talk to them. They were not present at the hotel 24 hours a day, but they were always available online on WhatsApp and answered messages. One night when we stayed at our friends' house and did not return to the hotel, they asked us how we were doing, which was very encouraging for us. There was a gas stove in the room and we could cook for ourselves.

I wish there was a safe box in the room. There was a slight damp smell in the room. I wish the dishes were in pairs. There was one of each type of dish.

Location was very good - many tourist attraction location were near. Available and easy to reach bus stations, even if not feeling like going by bus its possible to reach many good places by foot from this location. Staff is very friendly and helpful, even if I didn't needed any cleaning at the room they kept offer cleaning which was nice from their side. Also if you have any trouble in city the guy from the reception can help you with all sort of the problems. Good experience.

I had only one power plug near my bed which caused some inconvenience because I wanted to use both my laptop and charge my phone while in bed. Some drawers near the bed would be useful as well because now I had to put all my stuff on the table.

The room is big and has also a kitchen inside, the bathroom is quiet good and the staff was very helpfull. You can acces the hotel very easy from the Taksim Square ( 5 minutes walk)and it is very close to the Isikal Street, around 10 minutes walk.

The location was awful, a very dirty district, because there a lot of trash on the streets and sometimes there people asking for money. Also, around Taksim Square there are many dogs and you should be very carefull around them.

Everything was okay, but I think they should add more cooking essentials to the kitchen. I couldn't find a lighter or matchbox to ignite the stove, and when I asked the young boy at the front desk, he suggested I buy one from the market 😀 Nevertheless, overall, everything else was fine – nice location and friendly staff.
