The hotel is located not far from Taksim Square and the metro, from Havalimani buses that go to the airport 8 minutes. There are 2 supermarkets nearby. I liked how the workers made concessions and allowed early check-in. Thank you. For me, the most important thing is a clean bed and towel, a clean toilet and bathroom. Their room was clean and tidy. The guys were on duty at night, you could ask them any questions.

It wouldn't hurt if the hotel manager sometimes looked at how the cleaning ladies clean the room, because sometimes they rent out a room that isn't clean. After all, cleanliness in the room means a lot.

We rented two rooms, both offering a comfortable and clean space with essential amenities like air conditioning, TV, and a mini-fridge/kettle setup. While advertised as soundproof, some city noise is to be expected in this lively area. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, adding to a pleasant experience. For its prime location and functional comforts, the Grand Moon Hotel & Suites offers good value for a stay in Istanbul. If you prioritize location and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a solid choice.

We booked two rooms and were initially disappointed for one of the rooms to be assigned as a basement room. Thankfully, the staff were accommodating and swiftly moved us to a much better third-floor room. A key point for future guests, especially those with mobility concerns, is the hilly terrain surrounding the hotel. While the location is central, the steep inclines and declines in the immediate vicinity could pose a challenge for elderlies or anyone not comfortable with extensive walking. While advertised as soundproof, we did notice a slight noise from the outside area, which is somewhat expected given the hotel's central and lively location.

When we arrived to the hotel the staff and the owner were very welcoming, generous, and extremely helpful. They offered their help all the time. Mohammad was such a wonderful person. He helped us so much and always gave us information on what to do and where to go. He was so respectful and supportive. The atmosphere was very safe and cozy. We felt like family. I really can’t thank the staff and the owner enough especially Mohammad. The location of the hotel is very close to everything and it’s hard to miss. It’s very close to the Metro , busses, tram, cafes, and restaurants. Everything was walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely it will be my hotel to go to in Taksim area. The property is perfectly situated in the heart of Taksim, offering easy access to the bustling Taksim Square and the lively Istiklal Street. This made exploring Istanbul's vibrant culture, shops, and restaurants incredibly convenient. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and clean. They were equipped with all the necessary amenities, including heating and air conditioning, strong Wi-Fi making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their hospitality added to the overall positive experience. Especially the Father and Son duo. They were amazing. The property's proximity to public transport was a huge plus. It made visiting iconic landmarks like the Galata Tower, Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus hassle-free.

Nothing much. There is no lift, but majority of the stays in Istanbul has no lifts. Except premium hotels. The staff there made sure that all my luggage reached my room. Also, they carried my heavy shopping to my room as well. Always someone will be present at the reception.

Great location, friendly, attentive and professional owner. The room is a good size and every detail is thought out for the price range you are paying for. Plugs both side of the bed ✅️ reading lights ✅️ tea/coffee making station✅️ plenty of storage/drawers/✅️ a safe present ( but it's not fixed to anything so easy to carry but it's there) ✅️. I stayed 5 days and was very comfortable and happy. Neighbourhood at the time of my stay , was quiet. Thank you for everything.

From the description I was under the impression that the studio had it's own discreet entrance. Not always having to go through the manned reception. I like my privacy and that was the reason I booked. However that is not the case. Though the owner was very professional and helpful. I had no problems in receiving guests. Tiny Improvement it would be good to have a set of crockery, cutlery, knives and basic utensils. Again I was under the impression of booking a studio/apart. I enjoy buying fruit and eating it when I need to. But u requested it and it was provided. It was not a deal breaker!

The hosts are very attentive and kind. Although they do not speak good English, this was never an issue with the use of translating apps. They always greet us with a big smile and would offer free tea in the evening and coffee in the morning. We felt cared for. The location is GREAT too. It is calm (no noise at night) and only a ten minute walk from bustling Taksim. There are two 24/7 minimarts on the corner, with fresh bread. Comfortable beds. Basically, everything you could ask for. Truly recommend!

We were missing toilet paper upon arrival but this was obviously quickly resolved. The bathroom was smaller than expected. But these are minor details. Otherwise I have no critiques. Wonderful place.
