The location is perfect for family and sole traveler and it is safe area and also they are a lot of restaurants coffee shops and convenient store just about few meters distance. It has great transport link eg train buses and tram and little walk to Kabataş ferry to and from princess island and Asia .

Nothing every thing is perfect except I wish you could have English tv channel or different channels like aljazera and kids channels and washing machine and cooking stove is little bit slow for cooking needs to improve.

Location is great. Short walk to Istikal. Quiet road. Big space.

Bathroom needs some renovation. Some cleaning on sofa would be nice.

Honestly I would like to thank all the stuff working especially the ladies that makes the rooms, they come everyday, the towels are changed everyday, the people at the reception are ready to help, the property meets with the prices rate, I liked it

It was very central and easy to get to. We took the Havaist buses from the airport and it was only a 10-15min walk away. It was only about 5 minutes walk away from Taksim Meydani. The staff were fantastic. We only really spoke to the gentleman who worked during the day time (from Turkmenistan) . He was just amazing and super helpful. he gave us better directions that google maps and he told us about the places such as cafes and food to try in very nice places that are not busy and touristy (we didn't want to go to busy places). There were cameras all over the building which made us feel safe (as it was me and my friend (2 girls travelling alone abroad)). The gentleman covering the night shift at the reception was also very friendly and helpful. They both helped us with our luggage when we got there and when we left. they have 24/7 reception service which is great. I felt super bad as I forgot to leave them any money as I wished to. The room was comfy and clean. the downstairs area was very trendy and nice. There were many cafes etc round on the street which would be handy, though not the type the two of us would want to try.

Our room was on the third floor. we were lucky that the receptionists were so kind to help with the luggage. But if you are not comfortable climbing the stairs, you may have to ask for a first floor room or re-consider it. The street seemed a little odd! Unsafe is not the word. We felt a little uncomfortable walking round it late at night. again with us being two along girls, we thought we had to be more careful. It seemed a bit dodgy. During the day it was fine, but if you are alone or not comfortable, just be sure to be back before 11 at night.

The host was super friendly and engaging. The property was in a great location with a short walk to Istikal Street. The place was clean and had a good amount of space for two people. Wifi was really quick and the hot water shower was excellent!

Because of the earthquake we were afraid to travel and we had a correspondence with the Mort hotel representative, who reassured us and was readily available for any request or question sent to him. The rooms are charming, very clean and the attitude of the employees is above expectations. We highly recommend staying there. Although we did not have breakfast, but around the hotel there are many restaurants and cafes with great food. Also a supermarket. Convenient location and accessible to everywhere

The best thing about the place for me was the staff - they were really friendly and a pleasure to meet. They were attentive to any requirements. The location was good, perhaps 6 minutes walk to Taksim Square.

The photos perhaps flatter the accommodation a little. Rooms need some slight updating and slight repairs to improve the interior to match advertised photos. No lifts to upper levels.

Very good stay. Our expectations were exceeded. Very helpful staff. They even helped out by letting us borrow their Istanbulkart. Location is of course perfect. 7-8 min walk to the Havaist station, 5 mins to Taksim metro and Istiklal street. It is still relatively quiet. We came in August when it was very hot. But they have good air conditioning that got the room chilled within minutes. Good shower with good water pressure and hot/cold water as needed. I had an issue with the pillow the first night because it was a bit too large for my preference. The staff immediately gave me a pillow that was just perfect for my use. They also have utensils and cutlery available if needed. A fridge and a cooktop is also provided. Highly recommend.

The room and the hotel are super cozy, bright and clean, internet worked perfectly (which seems to be an exception for Istanbul hotels).

My biggest complain is that sink pipes were clogged, the water didn't go away fast enough.
