This is a nice spacious hotel room, in a great location! I would definitely stay her again. I appreciated that there was a washing machine. so I could do some travel laundry.

There were a few minor inconveniences, which I will list: Dishes were all in the dishwasher when I arrived. Some of them had hard stuck on dirt, which I gave to hotel reception Most coffee mugs had hard dirt or stains The cookware (one frying pan and one saucepan) are in very bad shape and should be replaced There were no wash cloths or drying towel for the dishes There was no soap for dishwasher, washer, or the kitchen sink to do dishes by hand The light above the stove and above the bathroom sink do not work I shared this with management, and hope they do address these for the next client

Central to Taksim square and transportation. Nice and friendly members of staff. Everything available in the room. Kitchenette & Utilities.

Television wasn't working. Some minor furniture parts were broken, which could have been fixed easily.

They don’t offer breakfast at Sheriff residence, however, their studios/apartments are equipped with facilities (fridge, stove, utensils, plates…) to make ur own breakfast if you so wish. The studios/apartments each is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. This being said, you can also have ur breakfast a minute away in one of the many coffee shops in the area. The overall stay was very pleasant, the residence is in close proximity to taksim square (1-2 minutes or so walk), which is very convenient to reach out anywhere in the city. The staff members are nice and helpful. The area around the hotel is a typical part of the old city relatively narrow (one way traffic) street; I stayed 7 nights there walked on that street maybe 50 or more times, and I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe.

This is my second stay at sheriff residence, the first date back to 2014 or so; I must admit the hotel is still in very good shape, yet it requires some little improvement from the owner which won’t cost much. These little improvements are primarily things like wall painting (not big deal), the showers in the bathroom require some work, it it is at the verge of being acceptable. I believe that cleaning the room daily (they do it once every three nights) is a must even if they rise their rental rate a bit to break even. The quality/price is almost unbeatable for the size and the cleanliness of the room.

The flooring needed cleaning I stayed 7 days only one day they cleaned and not the floor.

The location is very close to Taksim square and the owner was very kind. He shared the location via Whatsapp before arrival, so that was very helpful.

There wasn't sponge and a dishwashing gel, also noone changed our towels and sheets for an entire week.

The location is very central and easy to get to anywhere in Istanbul even with public transport or on foot. Safaa the host was absolutely fantastic, responds within minutes and very helpful. Arranged the transfers to and from the airport for us and we had a couple of issues in the rooms. They were fixed within minutes.

The cleaning person wasn’t that clean and left the bin bag with the rubbish in the corridor within the apartment.

The owner Safa is a very good friend, and they are helpful, the location is very good, 5 min waking to taksim Square.

When my wife is in Istanbul, she regularly stops here. She asked me to tell you: “An excellent hotel. This is not the first time I have stayed here and I plan to come here on my next visits to Istanbul. Excellent rooms where you can work comfortably and prepare your own food. Taksim is nearby, which means that even if you arrive in the evening, you can have a snack, and exchange money for Turkish lira, and buy a tourist SIM card."

We had an outstanding experience at this accommodation in Istanbul. The location is incredibly central, making it convenient with immediate access to supermarkets and a nearby metro station. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly recommend this spot for anyone planning a city trip – it truly exceeded expectations. A top-notch choice for a memorable stay!

Thanks for kind and friendly staff and the clean suite. The location was very good, 5 min to Taksim square. Ferhat supermarkt with fair prices in front of the door and all above mentioned points make the Sheriff Residence the best choice to stay😊

It would be better if they had more diches and pots. Wenn the dishes were in the dishwasher, we didn´t have any dishes to cook or eat.
