It is a beautifully renovated ottoman house, which was a treat to stay in. The space was comfortable, well furnished and clean. It felt very homely. Location just a 5 min walk to the old town center and we parked securely in the driveway. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The owner was kind and very helpful

I’m so happy I chose this place. It’s a beautiful house from the ottoman period, with a peaceful garden, and a wonderful view. The breakfast is delicious and home made (including the jams). The location is great, on a quiet road very close to the main square. But, most importantly, I loved to meet the hosts. I’ve learned so much about Safranbolu and Türkiye thanks to them, and they showed me an incredible hospitality that I’ll keep close to my heart. Thank you for everything! :)

The breakfast was tasty. The rooms were clean and neat, and in good condition. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable.

The bathroom is essentially in a cupboard in a room, as is the way it was in old ottoman houses. It was neatly done and consistent with the design of the house, but for people not familiar with these houses it was a little cramped. For larger people it could be a problem. I would suggest a kettle with tea and coffee would be a nice addition to the room

Absolutely remarkable stay. Couldn’t have loved more our stay at Imam’s superbly restored Ottoman house. Such a caring couple that even not speaking english made us feel so much welcomed and at home. The breakfast itself is a true experience of a traditional turkish breakfast at its best. There’s no chance of not falling in love with this place.

We cannot say enough good things about Akbulut Konak and the family who own and operate this place. It's a beautiful, historical home that's been so well preserved and looked after. Peaceful setting, extremely clean, comfortable, cosy and amazing Turkish breakfast served each day but most of all the family are the warmest and kindest people ever. It truly felt like a home away from home and we were sad our stay was too short. If you are planning to visit Safranbolu, stay at Akbulut Konak, it's the best :)

Best Hospitality. Lovely host. Great Location. Great breakfast with homemade breads and jams Best choice in Safranbolu old town. The honey was so delicious so I would like to buy and bring back for my father. At the checkout date, they gave us as a gift. We are so grateful.

Location in a semi village experience and walking distance from attractions. Staff were family nice to know. Friendly. Space for parking. Small garden.the house is architecture is old style and with traditional furniture. This is one of the best countryside houses
