The building itself is historic, one of the Ottoman styles of homes. The owners have decorated it with period pieces, so you feel as though you've stepped back in time. Check-in was smooth. The owner's brother has a restaurant close to the hotel, and guests get a discount (highly recommend his restaurant!). The beds are comfy. The breakfast is BIG, with tables served the same dishes individually (not buffet). Thanks to Abdullah and his team for giving us a GREAT memorable stay.

FYI to guests with mobility issues: the hill to the hotel from the old city centre is quite steep. It takes only 5 minutes going down to reach the centre. Otherwise, no issues!

The location of the hotel is really great which was just a few minutes walk to the bazaars. It's a bit of a hike but you won't regret it because of its beautiful view! The hotel is an old traditional house which provided us with an intimate and authentic feel. The room and the entire house is clean and cosy too! We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the beautiful town, and it's definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The hospitality of Abdullah, our host, was impeccable! From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and gave us recommendations on some places to visit. He made sure that we were having a great time during our stay, and we truly appreciate that.

Since it is an old traditional house, it is made of wood so hearing noise from outside is inevitable. In addition to this, we thought that the hotel accepts credit card but we were asked to pay in cash. Although ATMs can easily be found near the hotel, it would have been better if credit cards were accepted.

It was great pleasure to meet the owner as soon as we stepped out of the car. After a very warm welcome and quick property tour we were treated with turkish coffee at the scenic terrace overlooking the old town center. Breakfast was delicious outside. Great location close to the town up with breathtaking view of the town. We loved this family run property with its charm, cleanliness and character. Each room is a bit different but quite authentic. Also, the service and staff was excellent.

For young children or very old adults the walk down to the town center can be a bit tiring or tricky.

Classic Ottoman vacation home. Great hospitality and awesome breakfast. Beautiful view of Safranbolu with free flow of cay during evenings. We had great discounts on shopping,restaurant and entrance with Abdullah recommendation 🤩 We really enjoyed the stays at Seyir Konak and, Evmir was helpful and friendly offering lot of information ❤️😃

Power tripped during the evening in one of the rooms.

We arrived at the hotel too early, but the staff also allowed us to check in early and rest, which was great! The location is very good, close to the Hidirlik hill and the old town street. Surrounding view was also great! Friendly and nice staff, what a wonderful! Manager Ismail was helpful, he provide good service for us The breakfast was rich and delious. Highly recommended to stay! 5 stars+

Poor sound insulation

Location within short walking distance to center of historic town with view across town. Hotel is renovated historic building.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 and is served Turkish style with many individual small dishes. The late start can interfere with travel plans. The hotel is very close to the historic mosque in town with the loudest loudspeaker for the call to prayer that I have encountered during travel in Turkiye.

The best hotel in Safranbolu. This is almost the highest point of the town. Great location. Walking distance to most of the scenic spot. The host and staff were very hospitable. The sheets are clean and they smell like they've been sun-soaked. The smell of childhood gave me a good night's sleep. I was amazed by the view of the lights from the window at night and the view of the windows opened in the morning.

The hotel was set quite high above the old town with a great view of everything but only a 10 minute walk to the centre.the staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was absolutely amazing; the best we have had anywhere.

We liked everything about the hotel.

The Senior staff, Ismail, was very friendly and offered us another room FOC since we travel as a family of 4, which offered us additional bathroom to use! The location was just off the evening/night Bazaar, which offered good food and local shopping.

The bathroom was unfortunately small for a family, but having another room eased the squeeze.

This is a great place for couples, very cozy and quiet. Absolutely beautiful house with the old house charm but still had hot shower with great water pressure. We appreciated that you have to take off your shoes inside the house, it is super clean. A house like this isn't sound proof and you can hear talking and door opening from other rooms, but everyone who stayed here were very respectful and it was very quiet. We stayed in two different rooms, both were beautiful and with stunning views. The staff were very nice and breakfast was great, so was the view from the breakfast room. Even at night, many couples came to the breakfast room to chat and have tea. It was extremely relaxing and we had a wonderful time.
