Good value for money, beautiful location especially during night for unusual gateway. Not far from Gözeme or, love valley or urgrup (it's in the middle distance). We had car so 10min both ways was not a problem. Gözeme was great location to eat out: more touristy area, but this place was just nice and fitted well our expectations.

Few issues with car park , quickly solved by staff. Long distance from most popular airports (local airports had inconvenient flights). Starved stay pets around Gözeme: seem to have left water and pet food but still fell sorry for them. Apart of it beautiful place highly recommended to visit. Very kind and helpful staff.

Beautiful property, full of character. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Staff were all excellent and helpful. Many spots to sit outside with wonderful views. Breakfast at restaurant was delicious! It was peaceful and quiet.

There is no a/c or fan. The weather we had was cool ranging from maybe 7C to 20C. We had to keep our door open for a while at night before going to bed to get it cool enough. We kept window open all night and that did help. Just be aware if you are there during hot weather. One of our rooms was lower and didn’t really get the breeze so it didn’t cool off very well.

The location couldn't be better - great view on the castle, much quieter than in Goreme. Breakfasts were abundant and served by a very friendly and hospitable "chef". The room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The bathroom was simply awesome! Gigantic and very comfy - one room with shower, another one with jacuzzi. The female host was very nice and welcoming; she fixed the Internet for us. I wish we could use the swimming pool but unfortunately it was cold and rainy.

The hotel lacks a good restaurant with variety of food. You can order only minor snacks, incl. French fries, burgers, etc. The premisses and the kitchen are surely suitable to establish a regular quality restaurant.

This hotel is lovely with wonderful spacious rooms.It is situated in front of the castle in beautiful Ortahisar a little way from the more touristy area of Goreme which is only a short bus or taxi ride away. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and evening meals are available in the restaurant. The staff at the hotel are so kind and I am indebted to them for all their help and support, I can't thank you enough. If I could rate this hotel higher I would.

The shower doors are not made of shatter proof glass, be very careful when handling

Wonderful hotel. It's close to a lovely little township which has some great restaurants and bars. The breakfast is massive!!

The breakfast was served later than the opening time which is inconvenient if you want to be out and about before the heat. As a coffee drinker I would have also preferred the option. And some of that delicious fruit!

The tram at Capp Royal Cave Hotel are very kind and friendly; greeting us like family. The breakfast was a stunning array of delicious foods- breads, fries, eggs, jams, olives and cheeses. The pool was lovely and cool and the sun umbrellas were a welcome addition from last year.

It was very hot in Cappadocia whilst we were there and we definitely needed a fan in our room.

The hotel was found by chance and we are overjoyed to have found it. If you are looking for a nostalgic and very authentic hotel, you are in great hands there. The hotel is hosted by a very hospitable family. You would think you were friends with the family for years. 😊 For the catering, the breakfast is very rich (e.g. different types of olives, types of jam, freshly made warm dishes). There are also a small la carte dishes in the hotel if you don't want to eat lunch and/or dinner outside. The location is perfect, there is sightseeing less than 10 minutes in front of the hotel and a "Meydan" with small shops and restaurants. Nevertheless, it is recommended to own/rent a car if you have not booked an all-round package with a tour guide. Because the other sights such as "Ask Vadisi" in Göreme are about 20 minutes away by car. We will definitely visit the hotel again! PS: many greetings to ,,küçük patron”, gıdık ve bıdık 😉

Located in a beautiful city, walking distance to restaurants. Big room and comfortable, but a bit hot even in June.

Very steep parking but it is steep everywhere and not their fault! If you are anxious about driving this kind of road like me, park up and walk a little.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location outside of Goreme. We had a rental car so location was nice and quiet and about 15 min from main center. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Turkish breakfast was wonderful, and plenty of food! Room was clean and well decorated. Highly recommend! Free parking, although can be a bit tricky as the roads are pretty narrow.

Only experienced hot water twice, tried to take a bath one night, but no hot water. I think maybe it heats from the sun during the day? Not a huge deal-breaker, but would have been nice.

The host family was amzing. They made sure to make our stay was as comfortable as possible and went out of their way to do so. Food was great, room was spacious, clean and beautiful. They provided us with pick up and drop off from goreme and urgup.
