An excellent hotel for us as there is ‘6 star’ service for cyclists with hello on arrival, locked garage and tools available. Very welcoming staff, both on arrival and on the following day. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable, big bed. Superb breakfast. The bathroom is rather small but much of the room is taken up by a very good, large shower. It was no problem for us. The ‘city view’ is a car park, which was quiet overnight; again no problem. Drinks available and cheerful seating in the courtyard if the weather is OK. Good location. Very good value and highly recommended.

Despite difficulties with works outside the hotel the staff were very friendly & helpful and made sure we were aware of what we should expect at all times. The car park directly across from the hotel was very affordable and convenient. Easy access to main sights, beach and port. The room while not large was really comfortable. Plenty of restaurants all around.

Ideal central location, short walk to the sea front and the submarine pens/museum. Off street parking for our motorcycles, our host also allowed us to park early and leave luggage to go exploring before check in. Lovely friendly staff, cold water dispenser and bottles in the lobby, great for after a couple of beers. Coffee making facilities in the room and a great breakfast selection. Recommended.

Great location and even better breakfast which included full English breakfast and fresh fruit. Secure bike parking provided for cyclists. There’s even a stand with tools and a pump for servicing your bike which I used to replace my worn tyre.

You have to ask staff to get in and out of the inner courtyard with your bike. I found it easier to just go past the reception.

Great location, very helpful staff. Secure off road parking for my motorcycle and even a visor cleaner given when we arrived Excellent buffet breakfast choice.

Bathroom had a musty smell as there was no extraction. The staff could have left the window open to air the room.

Comfortable rooms, coffee machine in the room, also there is a mini fridge. Secure courtyard parking. Outside seating area to the rear of the hotel. Good central location. Staff friendly and helpful.

Comfortable bed. Coffee and tea facilities. We had 2 small dogs and we were able to exercise them no problem in the back. Full buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice. Fairly quiet location even though central in the town. It was also only a short walk to the beach. Car park across was free overnight. Basic but clean. Reception were helpful and polite.

The stairs. I'm normally very mobile but currently have a bad leg and stairs weren't easy to manage. Bathroom was tiny, just room for a shower. There are no views as such.

Walking distance to what we wanted to see. Off road parking was very much appreciated. Friendly staff.

It looked a little 'tired'.
