Room was very big, breakfast was great and location was good for family who would like to spend time around ancol during holidays. We will come again as my son loves the waterpark, but hope some of the comments can be addressed!

The light in the room was not bright enough and the furnitures including the wooden floor appeared to be old and a bit run-down compared to other Mercure hotel, no rug was there as displayed on the picture and other facilities like hand-soap was not provided. Only two towels was given whereas I paid for three guest including my son. So many mosquitoes in the lobby area.

My room on the 6th floor was very spacious with a partial ocean view. The location is perfect near the bay, with nice & big swimming pool, huge buffet spread for breakfast. If one is an adventure freak, the adventure park is just across the road from the hotel. Also, gondola ride near the ocean can be enjoyed. And there are many sea food restaurants within 1 km of the hotel.

The hotel was located close to where the 2023 Formula E / Jakarta e-prix event was being held - this was why we had come to Jakarta! Loved the buffet breakfast! We enjoyed a couple of dinners, drinks at the bar and the live music. I also had a lovely massage provided by the on-site masseuse. It was really easy to get about in Jakarta using the Grab app for ride services.

We didn't realise until we actually arrived in Ancol, that you need to pay an entry fee of 25,000 rupiah each time you enter the area. We asked some staff at the hotel about it and they said that they too had to pay the entry fee when they came to work! They advised that if we were staying for a week (we were only staying 5 nights) that they could have provided us with a pass to be able to come in to the area without having to pay the fee. It would have been nice to know about this entry fee in advance.

Air conditioning room 762 was hot. It was fixed twice. Fortunately my room, 761, was pleasantly cool/cold. Also, the key sensor of my door (761) didn’t work well, fortunately it was fixed on Saturday April 5. Also was the bubur ayam in the ballroom on Thursday April 3 a bit cold.

The breakfast was wonderful- lots of variety, tasty food, generous amounts, suitable for children, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was extra clean, comfortable, spacious and aesthetically pleasing.

Everything was great.

WiFi was really easy to connect we had a good view in the room,, it was right near the amusement park. The staff were extremely friendly. Good swimming pool. Good breakfast. Rooms are cleaned everyday

Strategically located inside Ancol, this is the best hotel for family. Really love that we could go to the beach in a walking distance. Lots of restaurant nearby too if you wanted.

The toilet could use some work, the bidet leaks so the floor got wet all the time. The swimming pool is great, but the policy to limit guests that could swim in specific hours need to be stricter since last time, the pool was too crowded that the limitations seems like a joke.

Excellent hotel, lots of entertainment both inside the hotel and nearby, there is a good water park, zoo and cool restaurants. Breakfast is excellent. I would especially like to note the attitude of the staff of the Arip and Soni restaurants towards guests!!!!

View to the ocean and location within the recreational area, where you have a lot of things to do within the area.

The elevator system still using old system, could be improve by adding security measures, so only designated guests with room keys are able to get on the elevator.

1. strategic location. inside the Ancol. so nearby all the play & education zone. also alots of restaurant with the beach concept 2. the complimentary. when I ask about bday cake. they fup ao quickly via chat from Booking.com & when arrived, they already provide not only cake but also decoration. and about the cake, they gave us not only 1, but 3 cup cakes with delicious tasted. 3. complete facilities. every mom must wanna pick staycation place that could make their children happy. in this hotel, provide indoor playground, outside playground, swimpool for child & adult, mini water park & sliding pool at the same times. and I have to tell you, Iam amaze with the detil of changing room. small things but matter, there are a table & hanger inside the bathroom & this is very cool coz realy needed for all moms like me who has alot things to carry. and they also provide sport indoor for adult such us billiard, pingpong 4. nice stuff. from main lobby until back yard, have a great hospitalities. always say greetings & smile. served with love & kindly 5. cheap & taste good food.

1. souvenir. it will greater if they provide some merchandize that labeling with the name of the hotel “Mercure Ancol”. it could be Tshirt, short, sandals, etc
