After reading all the reviews I was afraid I will have a very bad experience. I don't know where the reviews are coming from but the resort was actually clean and decent. I stayed 2 nights but made different reservations for each night (plans changed). After my first night I went to the front desk and asked if I can stay in the same room. Dee was extremely helpful, she went above and beyond to help me stay in the same room and gave me a discount for the second night!! Location is wonderful. It's not a 5 star hotel and you shouldn't expect that, but it's a great hotel with 2 restaurants, a coffee shop and a gift shop. Plus the pool and a huge parking lot

Nothing I can think of. I just wish people did not leave such bad reviews of this place. I was terrified of going.

Fantastic location. Amazing views of the lake. We had a great time on Lake Powell. Hotel is absolutely fine and provided a good stay with a great location. Staff were wonderful. Rooms are spacious, comfy and clean.

This hotel was good but it has so much potential for improvement. It could be great! The location is amazing, but a few things let it down. The rooms/ corridors are outdated, they could be made so much nicer. There was no soap in the bathroom and the fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, minor issues but small things like that make a difference. The pools were really nice but not many sun loungers or shaded areas, and the water could be cleaner. The restaurant staff were wonderful, polite and worked hard to provide a good service but unfortunately the food let it down. Also the menu for the restaurant and the bar are pretty much identical? This isn’t suppose to be a complaint because like I said we had a really good stay but there’s room for improvement. The hotel could be really amazing!

The location was amazing. We were disappointed with the cleaning service or actually the non cleaning service. We stayed for 4 nights and nobody ever came in the room to take trash out. The trash in the hallway of our building kept piling up and it was never picked up. We used the same towels for the first two days, but then needed new ones. We had returned from a long day of being away to our hotel room with all the dirty towels still on the floor and no clean towels so we had to go to the front desk where we were told that there are no clean towels anywhere in this hotel it was about 7 PM so we were unable to take a shower until they brought us some clean towels After asking several times and basically begging. We finally got some clean towels around 8 PM.

vending machine broke and I had to get in touch with the company to get a refund, two separate times my key didn't work and I had to go back to the resort office to have new keys issued. Also the neighbor's doors are very loud when closed so we were woken up every morning very early to closing, slamming doors. I extended my stay for a total of 5 nights. No one came to clean my room, take out the trash and refresh towels so I had to go hunt someone down by the 5th night.

Perfect location, walking to the marina is great, the rooms need some major renovation, it is from the 70s! wood material is already faded, bed was comfortable though, plug-in options for cellphone, outlets were very close so you can't plug in your electronics.

NOT all rooms have the water view, most are parking lot view. Overall, if you are looking for a perfect location to the marina and to the lake, this is your perfect location, all other amenities not so great, needs major renovation! There were 2 swimming pools, theuy are quite small considering it is a resort.

The room was great, with a view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The property was very neat and well kept, and we enjoyed the pool with the view which was excellent.

Admittedly, we were checking in past midnight so I probably could not have expected someone excited at the desk, but the staff that was helping me check in really appeared bothered by me and my questions even though they were relevant to our stay, that really detracted from my experience. Also, just being nitpicky, fridge was not advertised, but would have been a great addition..

Gorgeous place. We chose this for the proximity and views of the lake, and I'm glad we did. Clean, spacious, safe.

The only ick was from whoever the late night receptionist was. We rolled in around 1 am which yes, is obnoxious, but the lady who checked us in made it seem like an inconvenience. In the morning when I tried to login to WiFi, I had to go to the reception where I was informed the lady had never actually checked us in or put us in the system. Strange, but wasn't truly an issue. The entire staff in the morning were all very cheery, professional, and welcoming enough to make up for the weird night lady.

Nice location. Good view but the balcony was narrow with a tall wall so you could not sit and enjoy the view. The room and grounds were clean but the resort is old and showing its age. The morning breakfast buffet and omelet station were very good and the wait staff was attentive. Dinner at the Rainbow room was excellent and our waitress was outstanding.

Our room was on the second floor and was the first one at the top of the stairs. We experienced loud talking late night and early morning as people came and went from their rooms. We also experienced unsupervised young kids running up and down the stairs while playing around 11pm one night.

This property was gorgeous. We had an amazing stay. The view was lovely and the pools were great. We went out for dinner at the hotel restaurant and the meal was delicious, view was again amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was also great.

Our room (which was a pet room) could do with a bit of an update. Breakfast choices are maybe pricey as for a good big breakfast you need to go to the hotel restaurant however, there was a cafe too.

The location was not only beautiful with a view that can't be beat with the added bonus of being a small resort with 2 restaurants (plus a bar in the marina), coffee shop and two pools but it is also a great location to visit Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. The rooms are not fancy but the beds were comfortable and had everything you needed for a great stay. I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony and lake view to get the full benefit of the property.

This was not an issue for us because we have a National Park Pass but the resort is within Glen Canyon National Park so you have to pay $35 per day to enter the park to get to the resort. The National Park Pass is $80 for a full year for all parks so recommend purchasing this instead of paying a daily fee and can use it all year.
