Staff was friendly and check-in was efficent. Room was clean and everything was working. For my purposes of arriving at 6pm and on road again at 5am, it was perfect. Close to highway, close to food establishments, bed was good and best value I've experienced for an 11 hour place to sleep in a long time. I would definitely stay there again. The previous night I stayed at a Super 8 in Montana, that was $50 more a night and even though the room was larger, it was 1/2 the quality.

An alarm clock on night stand beside bed would be helpful. Older eyes can't read clock on microwave in middle of night, when 1/2 asleep. Also 2 both very full and puffy pillows. Personally, I like a flatter pillow, so if supplying 2, make 1 puffy and 1 flatter. Both are little inconsequential items.

We stayed at the Dam Motel, right in front of the red rock motel. It has everything you need and the common kitchen is very cute and fully equipped. Coffee was on the house. The AC worked perfectly for heating too (we visited in February). The lock system is awesome. Very clean and tidy, with nice furniture. Parking is available and free everywhere around the motel. Perfect spot to stay at because of the many touristic attractions around.

If I must find something I didn't like at the motel, it is about some minor details. Since we ate some meals in the bedroom, we would have liked 1 more chair in the room (so 2 in total). We would have liked more hangers and bars in the bedroom to hang towels close to the washing basin (which is located next to the bed), and to let the towels dry after the shower and for our coats.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The room facilities were great, as was the location. Very clean and well-appointed room. And I always enjoy that classic kind of American motel vibe offered here.

If guests are directed to arrive during a certain period of time for check-in, then staff should be there during that period. Check-in was a bit of a hassle, but eventually works out. The digital room locks are problematic...I was locked out of my room twice because the code was invalid and there was no on-site staff to speak with (issues had to be resolved via Booking.com, which isn't always quick). So, minor headaches that need to be resolved, but I would stay here again.

Very cute old motel, just what we like. Lots of character. Office lady was very helpful and friendly.

Didn't like the extremely noisy neighbors on the back side of us. (But that's a price you pay for the old motel, I guess.) Found out the hard way that someone had left a pan of french fries in the oven before our arrival. (Turned oven on to preheat for our supper, and room began filling with a burnt smell.) Obviously the room was not cleaned/checked over thoroughly. (Even after having a note posted that you will ne charged 25 bucks if kitchen is not in same condition as upon arrival.)

Great location - withing walking distance of a Safeway and some of the Antelope Canyon tour providers. There was ample parking at the hotel but it was nice to not have to move my car. The room was very clean and quiet. No big hotel amenities, obviously, and the room was a bit smaller than I expected, but it suited my needs and was very comfortable (and there was a mini fridge - yay!). I didn't chat with any staff during my stay, but there was great communication prior to my stay via email. Great value, I would totally stay here again.

It felt family-run (don't know if that's true) as the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help make the stay as good as possible. The bed was comfortable, the TV had loads of free channels, the shower was good, the kitchen was well-equipped and there was an outdoor grill + furniture available to use. The location was right in town but not noisy at night. Exceptional value for money.

There were a couple of essential items missing from the kitchen when we arrived but these were supplied quickly. The air conditioning system is dated so the compressors are very noisy. The decor is also dated but it's functional and exceptional value for money.

Rooms good. Location great. Very clean.

Kitchen, bedroom lighting would be better on independent switches. Heating coming on frequently and directed right at bed, cold at first, very hot at end of cycle made sleep somewhat difficult. Steadier heating (electric?) directed away from bed would be preferable. Box of tissue in bathroom would have been nice. Instructions for stove would have been nice. An extra blanket for bed would have been nice, allowing heat to be turned lower at night.

It was homey. The sheets were a gray print with two pillows and matching shams. The bed was smaller than what we normally enjoy but was comfortable. The shower contained real bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Like if you were visiting friends or family. The room contained a microwave and a small refrigerator which came in handy.

At first, I was upset because we were moved from Red Rock Motel to The Dam Motel owned by the same company. Upon arrival, the upset disappeared. I was happy with the room. The Dam Motel messaged me with our room code and the code for a full kitchen around the corner from our room.

Great location and price - walkable to just about everything. Big TV which was great for watching the Super Bowl. Good closet and shelf space.

Bed is very high/tall, furniture is big for a small space, kitchen doesn’t have adequate dishes, glasses, and utensils - unable to make a meal. There was 1 plate, we bought 2 cheap ones at WalMart and left them behind for future guests. There is a good sized refrigerator, coffee machine, counter, and large sink.

A very spacious apartment with pretty much everything you would require for a short or long stay. Located about 1 mile from the reception area, it's a stand alone apartment complex. The bed is enormous, the bathroom spacious with the most powerful and quirky shower you could ever wish for. There is a well equipped kitchen and full washing and drying facilities. In keeping with everything else the TV is large and indicative of the extra lengths that the property goes to to ensure your comfort (spare HDMI cables provided for connecting your own equipment. Wi-fi is excellent at 75mbs. There is a Walmart and lots of eateries within walking distance.
