The location of the hotel is in the middle of all the touristic places to visit. The room was big and clean. The lobby and the restaurants were nice and the food was good.

I recently spent 4 nights at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles from 16 to 20 May, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of downtown LA. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay, including a large flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and a desk for work. The location is excellent—right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it easy to access many of the city’s major attractions, restaurants, and business hubs. The hotel itself is an iconic landmark with a unique architectural design and a range of amenities including a fitness center, outdoor pool, and several on-site dining options. Staff were courteous and efficient, and check-in/check-out was smooth and professional. I would definitely recommend the Westin Bonaventure to anyone visiting Los Angeles, whether for business or leisure. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

While most of the hotel facilities were excellent, I was disappointed by the cleanliness near the swimming pool area. On one occasion, I noticed that the restroom on the walk to the pool had a strong urine smell and did not appear to have been cleaned recently. It detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. I hope the hotel addresses this, as maintaining hygiene in shared spaces is essential.

The location in downtown made it easy to get to my destinations. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. There was an issue with my toilet and they sent a Technician up right way to fix it. This was my second stay and I would definitely choose it again!

Comfortable bed and nice view from the room

Personally, the bedroom and the hotel in general i found it really comfortable and beautiful, but the personnel who received us for the check-in was not really friendly, i booked my stay by Booking.com and she couldn’t find the reservation, however the way she carried out the process was not kindly, from my point of view, at the end she gave us a room as i showed her the confirmation and the receipt, but she looked kind of like in a bad mood. Guess it could be just a one-time thing but for me it didn’t make me feel comfortable at the beginning, coming from a long day of travel. Afterwards, as soon as we got to our room we had to ask for a change of room as we perceived a smell of smoke really strong, and again, they gave us a new room, but in a not really polite way.

The property and facilities were amazing, liked it.

Outsourced services must be monitored by the hotel as well must have an oversight. La Prime Steak House, Spa and other for better service delivery.

Room was great. Very clean and comfortable. An excellent selection of amenities like pool, spa, etc.

The breakfast buffet with powdered eggs for $32 a person was ridiculous.

The pillows and the design of the room. The remaining facilities such as the gym, nail salon, spa, FedEx availability.

The inbalance of temperature throughout the hotel. People smoking weed and or vaping inside the building.

very beautiful view from my hotel room. loved the coffee. receptionist was very nice and i was able to receive the shuttle bracelet without any issues for the LA marathon. Last year there was so much confusion behind the shuttle bracelets.

The valet was full. I was directed to park across the street but they gave me the wrong directions and i tried crossing the bridge overpass with all my stuff only to find out i cannot enter the hotel through that way and must take stairs, no elevator was available so I had to carefully drag all my things down the flight of stairs. The food menu was limited on Sunday 03/16/25 because they ran out of all types of soup when i called room service. the room 3030 was very loud and noisy all night on sunday up until 1am when i called downstairs.

The room was very nice! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I really appreciate housekeeping giving me fresh towels during my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not get a chance to dine in the restaurants or even visit the pool, as I was busy at the convention. The free shuttle bus to the convention center for AX was a huge help!

When I stayed last year my room smelled heavy of cigarettes and it bothered my lungs. Every room was booked so I couldn't switch. This year I faintly smelled cigarettes but it didn't bother me. Perhaps a use of deodorizer would help before the room is checked into? Otherwise I greatly enjoyed my stay.

No possibility to open a window in the room. Room had Bad air.
