In the urban area of downtown with a short walk from many attractions, night life and great food. The room was extremely large with all amenities you could ever need. Private and surprisingly quiet. Very pleasant stay.

The hotel took a holding fee of $150 usd on my credit card. At some point during my stay there was an addition charge deducted from my credit card for the whole total of the booking despite the booking being prepaid. This was refunded one week after checking out. I wasn’t informed this would happen and impacted my travels in the next week from a financial perspective.

The rooms were beyond expectation for the price. Yeah it’s noisy outside but one of the most expansive and comfortable rooms we’ve been in.

Wondered if triple pain windows might help on reducing street noise.

So cozy!! We were scared because of certain hotel reviews we have seen, but it was not uncomfortable in the slightest. In fact, the beds were clean, no bedbugs like the reviews reported in the past, it was spacious, cozy, comfortable. The phone and air conditioning did not work fully and lights could be a bit brighter but other than that it was great! Security massage it safer as well.

Air conditioner did not work fully, beds need more blankets, and needs to be brighter.

Spacious, full kitchen, clean and wonderful staff.

Since the property is located in Historic Downtown L.A., and the buildings were built in 1915, there are parking lots in the same building. But, there is one right across where you will need to roll/carry your luggages. There are no stores open past 9pm but at every corner, are plenty of taco trucks.

A great place to stay with your family. We booked a suite for 3 nights; it was very spacious and equipped with a full kitchenette. All amenities were modern and fully functional except that the rooms were dark and did not have ample lighting (I am assuming they are still renovating the space and hence, the incomplete lighting). There is 24 hr reception support and the staff is very friendly. The area around seems shady but nothing majorly serious. The place is well connected to public transportation options and is walkable to multiple shopping centers and good restaurants. There is no parking space owned by the hotel but there is a public parking just across the street (a cheaper option is available too with $15 per day on 7th and Flower, if you do not mind walking 0.2 miles for it).

Better lighting in rooms.

Good location in downtown LA near several restaurants, cafes, and a few public transport options. I enjoyed staying here - there were essentially 2 rooms that were joined, along with a small living area and a kitchen. I loved the open concept loft feel of the "room" which was closer to an apartment layout and very roomy. For the price, a pretty great option! Wifi wasn't the fastest but was decent enough.

The only thing that was weird was the bathroom setup with the shower and toilet, but this was minor. The front door was a bit annoying because it was locked 90% of the time - you had to buzz the front desk to let you in even in the middle of the day. This was minor.

I liked the loft. It was well equipped and spacious. We had a view of the back of a building, but it was quiet because it wasn't overlooking a busy city street. The staff was very friendly. Initially, we were placed in a loft that reeked of cigarette smoke. Since I am very sensitive to this, and booked a non-smoking room, I went to the front desk immediately and they gave us a different room.

In the description of the property it mentions parking as one of their most popular amenities. This is not true and there is no parking onsite at all. The garage we found was about 1/2 block away and was $25 overnight with no in and out priveledges. I was very disappointed in this as I had not budgeted to spend extra money to park and walk in the heart of the city alone with my daughter. No in and out privileges meant we had to stay in the hotel in the evening as it was not in my budget to pay by the hour and then pay an overnight fee. Keep this in mind when choosing this hotel.

Convenient location to arena and downtown. Great size and full kitchen.

The location although convenient, is a very rough area of LA. Many vagrants and the streets were very filthy with needles and trash.

The room had two beds and a kitchen! I loved the size of the fridge, and the fact they offered two pots and a pan in case you didn’t bring any! They also had plates, bowls, and silverware included! As well as a trash disposal chute on every floor, they even had a washer in the basement for clothes and a dishwasher! If you have pets they allow pets, but it comes with a fee per pet and they’re charged each night of your stay.

The room I was in had an odd smell, which I did not like, but if you’re able to ignore it you’ll be fine. NOTE, (unrelated to the place itself): It’s by 2 parking garages which was fine but it was a let down the place didn’t have guest parking so be sure to plan for an extra hundred dollars or so (per week) since both had a fee of around 15 bucks and one of them was cash only. They both had a reset time, one at 4 am and the other at 6 am so you have to pay an exit fee if you don’t leave before then and then an entrance fee when you enter. Which drained our wallets- NOT the Haas’ fault though, it’s just something to keep in mind if you’re staying there.

The place was secure, clean, comfortable, and spacious. While I only used it for an overnight stay, would definitly return, especially if for a longer stay.

Because of an cut in the fiberoptics cable? in the area, the hotel was without an internet connection when I checked in, so they required not only cash for the room, but also for a "cleaning/damage fee" I do not like to carry that kind of cash when I travel, and it was certainly off putting to be told to go to an ATM a few blocks away to get enough cash to check-in when my credit card was on file. I have a mobility impairment that requires walking sticks to help my mobility, so this was more than just a little incconvienient. The check-in clerk advised me this was policy so it was out of her hands.
