The location was good and they provided a shuttle to cruise port.

Being Hilton owned we expected more. The facilities were old and poorly maintained. Was overpriced and staff very non caring. Early check in was a $50.00 charge even after I communicated weeks ago requesting an early check in which they agreed to with no mention of a fee. They even offered a shuttle to attractions in our earlier communication but after we got there they did not. We ended up walking to nearby attractions and took an Uber back. 5 miles walking. The restaurant was too small for the capacity of the hotel. Breakfast was very good but wait very long. Wait staff was great considering being overwhelmed. The room was nice enough but carpet needed cleaning and lighting in bathroom was poor. Elevator was in need of service !!

Hilton San Pedro was the perfect location to stay at the night before our cruise. The hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to the port (you need to reserve your spots in advance). As for the hotel itself, our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the yachts. The restaurant staff were friendly and given there is not much nearby otherwise in terms of restaurants or stores, we enjoyed the selection e.g., fish tacos, fried cauliflower, etc.

I liked the free shuttle there and back from the event.

Wanted to come back to the room and watch the baseball game. But the tv did not work. They said they would send someone. No one ever came. Also charged for parking. A little ridiculous considering I already spent $500 for one night for 1 room. Housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8 am on a Sunday. I was hoping to sleep in. That didn’t happen.

Clean, comfortable, good location. Excellent support from Elizabeth at the front desk in dealing with the protest issue below. Overall the hotel treated us fairly, compensating for our inconvenience and relocating us to a different room for our second night. Bartender Michelle was great.

Hotel apparently been experiencing noisy and disruptive protests by a hotel contractor since last June using drums, whistles and loud chanting. Staff reports they are unaware when they will occur. In our case lasting about 2 hours starting at ~4 pm our first day followed by ~1 hour which awakened us at 7 am the next morning. Luckily, the protests did not recur. Not at all what we expect from a Hilton branded hotel.

The setting was beautiful. The hotel was spotlessly clean

The hotel supplied a coffee pot. Great but the problem was there was no where to plug it in. Thus utterly useless. Most of electrical outlets for recharging phones and computers did not work. The only outlet that worked was next to the bed and only accommodated one device. If not for this inconvenience I Wouk have given the hotel an excellent rating.

The room was nice, we got the upgrade at 50% discount. Good breakfast on site. Plenty of free parking.

Unfortunately, there was a hotel worker union protest going on inside and around the hotel grounds while we were eating breakfast. They were very noisy, but the hotel comped our meals on request.

Breakfast was fine. No, too many choices to cover your coupons. I used many in one day I eat good for breakfast is my main principle meal for the day.

The cost was pricey. Also, I found a bug in the roof that I couldn’t killed in my first day. And, in my last day I saw 👀 another bug bigger and I called the office and they came and killed.

check in was unnecessarily specific. Maybe it’s just a Hilton or big chain policy (we almost always stay in boutique hotels or airbnbs) but they wouldn’t let us checkin 15 minutes early. Literally made us wait 14 minutes in front of the counter while the guy did nothing and helped no one (there was no one else there waiting). again, maybe just Hilton policy to not allow early check ins but I found it off putting and another reason I prefer smaller hotels.

Nice room, overall a well maintained hotel, directly on the marina.

The carpet in our room must’ve been freshly shampooed because it was wet around the edges of the room. We had checked in late, so decided not to ask for a different room, but the wetness everywhere was kinda gross. Also, the menu advertised for the restaurant was nothing like what was actually available. Food was good (especially breakfast), but the menu for dinner was not what we expected.

We were going to Catalina Island, the location is close to the Catalina Express and they had a free shuttle for us. The shuttle driver was a bit late, though, so next time we’d book it for earlier. The food was decent and the staff were all very friendly. For the price, I expected something a little fancier, but prices are high everywhere right now.

It was a little expensive for what it was, but definitely the best option around.
