This is my 2nd time to Taichung and 2nd time staying in the same hotel. The breakfast spread was superb and there are so many varieties to choose from. The room size was good and they provided with complimentary drinks and snacks. I didn't use the lounge access so not so sure about the tea break and drinks that they offered. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and bed was so comfortable. The housekeeping team cleaned up the room while I was having breakfast. I was impressed with the efficiency. The bed was big enough for us and our 5 years old gal. There were 2 malls like 200m and 400m away and its has all the food and shopping needs. I realised that this hotel has many business travellers too. It doesn't bother me either.

The food service menu could have more options like catering for kids. After a long day out, my gal didn't want to go out for dinner. There was limited asian options for her. The dispenser soap was locked and was placed on the higher shelf. It doesn't make sense cos it might spilled when we pressed it out. Maybe they can consider using soap if they were concerned about people taking the bottle away.

breakfast was decent. a lot of people. rooms were large enough. Towels smelled musty one day. gym is inadequate for this size of hotel. bed was old and pillows were lumpy.

better beds and pillows. towels need to be fresh and clean. shampoo and lotions need to be fully filled.

It is quite a new hotel. Overall, the rooms were spacious, clean and functional. Common areas were all clean and accessible. Did not have a chance to try the breakfast. Gym was small, but sufficient (Wished it was bigger with more equipment). Really enjoyed the suana (steam room, suana, cold suana and hot suana). Only problem was location as there is no shopping or food options (at least 10mins walk)

Location was not the most convenient for people walking. If you have a vehicle, it is easy to get around.

The Deluxe King Room was phenomenal. Extremely comfortable and luxurious, with everything you could need. Staff were always waiting to open your car door and were very welcoming every time we arrived back. The price is very affordable for what you get. For the price of a cheap hotel in London, you get a 5 Star service and a luxury room. Room service was also great. Good food that came in a reasonable timeframe.

There really wasn't much not to like to be completely honest. If I'm being really nitpicky, then I'd probably say the Breakfast could be better. But that may just be a reflection on what I like to eat in the morning. I found myself walking around the buffet a lot because I didn't fancy a lot of the things available, but that's okay. I didn't leave hungry, and the things I did eat were very nice. My Taiwanese girlfriend went back for multiple plates of food, so it's obviously more suited to a certain palette.

The size and comfort of the hotel was excellent - we slept very well. Breakfast served was top notch - spread and quality was excellent. Overall a great room for family stay.

There was no convenience store (E.g. 7 Eleven around the hotel).

The room was very spacious, elegantly decorated, high-end amenities, a perfect bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in the entire East Asia in 5-6 years of trips to the region. High-quality, fresh ingredients, very well-made dishes and a great versatility of offerings. The check-in/check-out was very smooth and friendly.

It's not a major problem, but the fact the restaurant stops serving food at 9:00 or 9:30 and asks the guests to leave the restaurant area way before mid-night, was not pleasant.

Front desk staff were very helpful, and I’ve never had water delivered to the room so fast. Cosy 12pm check out time. Spacious room and bathroom. Perfect for a short stay.

On a large boulevard so nothing really nearby (like a convenience store). But we uber’d straight to all the sites anyway

Good location in new part of Taichung. Contrary to the information on booking.com, the pool is open. Bring your swim gear.

All day dining restaurant only does buffets. Not many restaurant locations within walking distance.

The location is surrounded by high end residential buildings. Just 15mins walk to the National Theatre. Great underground parking. Breakfast buffet has lots of varieties.

Can't cast Netflix or YouTube to TV. Not many restaurants nearby. A bit far from downtown.

it was not possible to order room with extra bed. limited opportunities for dinner at the hotel. we were not informed that breakfast differs different days, so missed breakfast one day.
