As always, it's a great location due to being dead middle in the downtown area within one of the quieter pockets. A perfect solution for me, personally, when I have to be in Kyiv for work. Cleaning lady was super friendly this time, which I appreciated. Presence of the mini-kitchen really makes the stay much more comfortable (plus the fridge and AC).

This time my windows faced not the street at the front but the backyard. Be advised that the first floor is an ACTIVE firefighter station. Sometimes firemen can hang in the backyard, smoke... and said smoke gets promptly into the room. Trade off is that whenever Kyiv has blackouts again, this hotel would be one of the last to lose electricity, since a firefighter station can never lose access to electricity.

Close to city centre (maybe 30 min walk) and close to the train station (about 25 min walk). Easy to comunicate with reception, even though I didn't speak ukrainian and reception english there was no language barier :) Although I like to try to stay at different hotels/apartments this one I would consider to stay again if I ever travel to Kyiv again.

Good price/quality ratio, everything is within walking distance reach, rooms are clean, a few requests I had were addressed, special thanks to the cleaning lady - very understanding, accommodating, safe to leave belonging around.

Washing machine policy is stupid (charge per item).

Excellent location. Clean. Good price. Would recommend for short stays. There is a bomb shelter in front of the hotel. Luckily, I haven't used it, but this information helped me to stay calm:)

It's quite old, but it's nevertheless good for that price and location. I didn't like daily cleaning there. I would ask not to clean my room at all for 2-3 days' stay next time. I just felt like someone was in the room and just randomly replaced my staff. Didn't get the purpose of that. No lift. If you have any health conditions or heavy suitcases, it wouldn't be the best option.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff, very neat and clean room, cozy street near the city center and underground station. What's important in Ukraine now - electricity never goes out in the inn, probably because of the fire station in the same building.

A small thing, but having a shoehorn in the room would be nice.

The bed was okay but not great; thin walls - can hear anyone who’s walking outside the room; lacking a few kitchen items - like a knife for cutting.

Firehouse clean (in the rooms, especially). It is quiet and has a comfortable bed. Hot water too.

It may have been a bad day, but the woman at the desk seemed to be rather harsh. They do not speak any other languages and can be quite abrupt with requests. Early check out (05:00) consisted of me dropping the key on the chair behind the desk and then listening to her yell directions through the door. (Apparently she could see me on camera).

Good location, very helpful staff (stayed up till 11pm to check me in), clean spacious room with an under counter fridge and a microwave. Don't try to walk with a suitcase from the railway station - it's very much uphill!

Air conditioning "worked" but was making a truly horrible noise that made it unusable - proved to be difficult in 36°C heat. The mattress was well worn and I felt the springs

It was really good for it’s money, I didn’t expect plates, cups, and cutlery to be there :) so it was very nice to see and the place itself very spacious. Also thanks to very nice housekeeper , she was polite and lovely

I didn’t like the bed, it wasn’t very comfortable, and i could appreciate a mini cocking top and I would be more than happy to pay more for the night to have it in the room

I loved the location and staff’s friendliness and readiness to help. The day I was checking in it was ready earlier and they were ready to have me - I really appreciated that tired from train.

The only thing was that the bathroom had strong chlorine smell but that’s okay actually.
