We loved this place. It would have to be the best place we stayed at despite paying a lot more in other places that claim to be 5 star. At first I was a bit put off due to being so far out of town. However, that turned out to be a bonus as we could get to places without getting caught up in the town congestion. The hotel is also close, you can walk, to fast food, supermarket, hardware and several other shops.

We were catching the ferry at Larne and decided we liked this hotel so much that we would extend our stay an extra night, sadly they were all booked out, we didn't like that, so we had to move on.

We went as a family of 5 and it was clean and staff where friendly. It's walking distance to an amusement arcade and McDonald's and there is shops All within walking distance.

As a family we all like to be together or in an adjoining room for the kids sakes when we last stayed there we had the adjoining room which was great but we have stayed on the 2nd of March for just 1 night and we were put into separate rooms with the kids staying in a room of their own which meant one parent had to stay with 2 children in one and the other child had to stay with the other parent in the other room. The kids ages are 13 9 and 8. I would stay there again only if they have adjoining rooms to accommodate big families like previously. Food was just okay.

Near to everything, and having restaurant beside was great given that we had no electricity at my Mums (who also stayed one night). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - front desk staff were always smiling to welcome and say hello, staff at the restaurant were fantastic (Angel-Lee, Daniele, and Reese) which is why we went back several times to eat there. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, hot (very) water in shower, quiet (even room facing road were quiet)

Room was very modern and comfortable. Included hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, milk. Plenty of plugs beside the beds and in front of the mirror. Comfortable shower pressure. Very clean overall. Breakfast was delicious with loads of vegetarian options. Was impressed overall especially for the price, was close to town, easy to get to, with ample parking and fast food places near by if you're looking for something cheap and cheerful (including McDonalds, Burger King, Subway and a really nice local fish and chip place)

We arrived at 4pm and were unable to check in (after driving 5 hours to get there). We went to the causeway and came back to check in around 6pm. The iron and ironing board were poor quality but did the job. Requested it for my room and worked somewhat ok.

Hotel is very well located with free parking. Hotel room and ensuite were very clean. Breakfast was delicious with various options to choose from - toast, croissants, muffins, various types of cooked eggs, hash browns, sausages, potato bread. Enjoyed also the possibility of having dinner at the hotel. Booked there four times and the food was excellent every time.

Would have preferred having a shower rather than a shower bath as it would have been accessed more easily.

Comfortable room for 4. Compact, minimalist super comfortable and functional. Shower was great. Location is perfect as a base for visiting Giant’s Causeway. Hotel faces a large M&S Food Hall & a couple of eateries yet it’s quiet. Optional breakfast was worth taking. It’s served in a cozy and beautiful setting (for Christmas) and the place transforms into a lovely pub great for cold nights. Hot food came in large portions with a continental buffet spread. Would recommend this hotel.

Room was a lot nicer than expected. Much cheaper than a premier inn room but better quality. Bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a full size bathtub which was nice to come back to from the gym right next door. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Housekeeping came to check if we needed any new towels/toiletries on our second day there which was great!

Had dinner in the restaurant and service was rather slow. Our order was taken by a lovely woman with dark hair and glasses, and she was brilliant. But after we received our drinks she was replaced by a young man with brown hair who was rather curt and forgot about us after clearing our plates. We had planned to order desert and more drinks but couldn't get his attention, so after 20 minutes we paid at the bar and left. However the food was lovely.

The room was spacious, clean and had a monster sized and comfortable bed. The dining room was spacious, clean and the menu very good for choice and presentation. Car parking plentiful and convenient.

The background “music” in the dining area was loud, inappropriate and intrusive making conversation difficult. Our room overlooked the road and river and traffic sound at certain times prevented us from sleeping with an open window.

The breakfast is definitely the highlight! Delicious full English breakfast (proper table service instead of self help) and abundant continental choices. The staff remembered not only our room number but our choices on the second morning when we turned up! Absolutely five stars! Location is brilliant- half an hour from the giants causeway and close to other northern coast attractions (Binevenagh, Nissendum, Benone Strand). Freshly decorated, triple glazed and very quiet.

Plenty of car parking space, entrance and car park very clean and tidy. Reception is always attended by friendly and attentive staff. This was our first time to travel with a dog and the dog was spoiled by the staff who ensured that she got a sausage every morning. The fact that it is a privately owned hotel means a lot, the staff seemed to know their regulars and local people visited the premises in the evenings which is always a good sign.

This is in no way meant as a complaint. The rooms and the decor are a bit "tired" but I did notice that two of the rooms have been taken back to the bare walls and are being refurbished to a high standard. We later learnt that the present owners have only bought the hotel from the Premier Inn group a few months ago and intend to refurbish the entire building over time. I would like to wish the owners every success in their new venture and it would be an added bonus if they are supported by the travelling public and locals alike.
