Maghernahar B&B is one of the best places we have stayed in. Martin our host was fabulous. More than helpful, Martin provided excellent suggestions for local restaurants and less known places to visit. The room was very comfortable, complete with tea & coffee making facilities and a range of biscuits. The bathroom is spacious and an excellent shower. Breakfast was incredible with a range of cereals beyond compare, and then Martin offered a range of cooked breakfasts. The B&B is an easy drive to Ballycastle and beyond and I would recommend staying here when exploring this lovely part of Northern Ireland.
I cannot think of anything.

The best B&B we found in Ireland! Everything was absolutely excellent. The room was spotless, perfectly clean, and comfortable. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality of our host, Martin – warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Throughout our entire trip in Ireland, we never experienced such a warm and welcoming reception. Breakfast was simply outstanding: high-quality products, a great variety, and the freedom to order exactly what you like. We had an unforgettable stay. If you're looking for the best B&B in Ireland, look no further – this is the one!

Room was big, as was the en-suite. Nice big table, so easy to work with laptop, working r all photos I took of the North Antrim Coast, Dark Hedges, Ballycastle, Giants Causeway and Ballintoy harbour. So ideal location. Martin the host was friendly, helpful, and chatty. The breakfasts were good, liked the display of cereals and jams, marmalades, honeys, nutella, even marmite! So something for everybody. liked the little fridge on the landing so I could have real milk in the tea I made in my room. Oh also really loved watching the housemartins flying around the house.

Martin and Michelle, the owners, were amazing! I got to know them a bit during the two nights I stayed at their B&B. Their breakfast is exceptional, they had a variety of cereals and granola, with fresh fruits and all, as well as some delicious eggs and toast that Martin cooked. Additionally, I was travelling alone, hiking along the Causeway Coast trail from Portrush, and they were there for me when I was stranded. I can't thank them enough for being there for me and their amazing hospitality! :)
Honestly, nothing comes to mind about anything I didn't like about my stay: it was perfect. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

A very peaceful location with lots of parking. A fabulous breakfast, best choice I've ever come across in a B&B, lovely individual bowl of fresh fruit and cooked breakfast with personal choice of items included. Large bedroom and bathroom and appreciated the small fridge on the landing with a supply of fresh milk for teas or coffee in the bedroom. Martin was an excellent host, very accommodating and provided lots of local information.

WOW, what a gem this B&B was to stay. Michael and his wife Michelle were excellent hosts and the pictures of the property don`t really do it justice. The entrance hall and staircase to this Manor House is worth the entrance fee alone, ha ha ! Part of a round trip from The UK - Fishguard - Rosslare - Belfast (Titanic etc) - Giants Causeway (very near here) and then a saunter down the West Coast before heading back to Rosslare. Greeted by Michael`s beaming smile, things just got better and better. Easy to find, plenty of parking, extremely spacious rooms (we had two double beds), plenty of sockets, TV, kettle / tea / coffee etc., a great shower and as it`s in the Country it was as quiet as you like. But the absolute star of the show was Michael`s amazing breakfast! Plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices and there were 25 (that`s not a typo), yes 25 different boxes of cereals, granola`s, bran flakes, corn flakes or weetabix etc. But, that still isn`t the start of the show...well not for me anyway.... Michael cooked a fantastic Full Irish Breakfast and after I`d avoided all the healthy stuff, it set us up for the day, ha ha ! Very well located for Giant`s Causeway, Portrush, PortStewart, Bushmills, Ballycastle and the ferry to Rathlin Island. Great place to stay, highly recommend!
Absolutely nothing!

This was a fine experience. The room was large - and the bathroom possibly larger - and looked out over fields. Breakfast was copious - with fresh fruit salad, more cereals than in a supermarket, and cooked food of a great standard. Lots of room to park, a most welcoming mine host (Martin). Very well located for exploring the North Antrim Coastline.
We had a lovely bathroom, but one had to leave our bedroom to access it. I believe that the other rooms had integral en-suite facilities. The property is somewhat isolated, so one needs a car to - for example - go to dinner. However, these are very minor details, and do not detract from an otherwise super stay.

A lovely BnB run by a very generous and caring host . First time we encountered two full beds in lieu of twins. Very comforting after long hours of driving plus hiking. The breakfast is lavish and generously provided. The host affectionately watches over your meal and made an omelette for us on request. Great variety of juices and cereals, yoghurt and spreads . Truly gracious We also had some very interesting conversations . If in the Causeway area do stay here . Easily our best experience in England

I love the quaintness. I felt so much like we were in an Irish home. It was so clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and a breakfast has so many choices. Martin and his wife were amazing. Martin couldn’t do enough for us, and was so friendly. He made us whatever he wanted for breakfast, and he even took time to talk to us. He is exactly what I think of when I think of a nice and friendly Irish man. We really recommend this B&B if you’re ever staying in Ballycastle. It’s actually one of my favorite places of both trips to Ireland that we have made.
Nothing.
