Proprietors Mark and Michaela went above and beyond for us after our car broke down assist’s with repairs. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are the embodiment of kindness. The saying everyone you meet is a friend you haven’t just met yet is true where these people are concerned. Place is well situated to all local attractions. The cats are a bonus Lucky, Foxy and Rambo add a little extra to the place. My daughter wants to move in and was having dreams of cats while we were there. Thank you for all of your kindness and we are already planning our next trip. Jayne & Ava

It’s not walking distance to anywhere but the giants causeway is just a 5 minute drive as is the local village. Breakfast was huge and lots of variety. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Free parking anywhere in Europe & UK is a god send. Our room was cozy, but I’ve stayed in smaller, we had an opening window and were able to let in the fresh country air. As this used to be a pub, there is an on-site bar with tables and chairs, a pool table and even an open fire place.
We are on a very long holiday and I’ve stayed at lots of places, one thing I’m noticing is lack of accommodation facilities updates on booking.com, this is one of them. Advertised as live music on weekends, great, I love live music, but it hasn’t been the case since Covid. I’ve now moved on to another city and am staying at an advertised B&B, but they don’t do breakfast. Booking.com please ask your providers to update.

This is a family run pub which was cosy and inviting. The lady works long hours from cooking an amazing, filling breakfast to serving behind the bar and closing the pub at night. She has great knowledge of the area and was helpful in recommending places to go for evening meals. The room was very comfortable and warm. The bar was well stocked and other guests were friendly and talkative. There is free Wi-Fi
Not sure there was anything I didn't like.

The Causeway Tavern occupies a fantastic location for all the main sights. The owner is lovely, very engaging, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very nice, good shower, very comfortable bed. The breakfast is great, plenty of choice, generous portions and nicely presented. The bar is nice, good range of drinks and very fairly priced. There is plenty of free parking available.
Nothing not to like.

Wonderful location within easy driving distance to all coast attractions. Easy day trip into Londonderry as well. The parking was easy and plentiful. The beds and facilities were perfect . The fact that there is a cozy small pub on site made it safe should you decide to end the day with a.pint and not worry about hailing a taxi. The host, Michaela was hospitable, friendly and helpful for local information. Perfect location for our 5 night stay.

A friendly place. The owner served as hostess and bartender. The pub, though open to the public, primarily served rooming guests. I stayed two nights and felt like family by the end. Excellent location for touring the area. Minutes from Bushmills, Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy Harbour and more. Beautiful place, and perfect accommodations if stairs are not an issue. Historic building.

Can't say enough about this place. We had the best stay! The tarven is a home away from home. The food is very very good, breakfast was fabulous. Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. The hosts micheala and Mark were so friendly and nice and couldn't do enough for us. We asked Micheala would she do us some finger food for a small group of people..she put out all the stops the spread was amazing 👏. Would highly recommend the causeway tavern B&B. We will definitely come back to stay in the future.

The landlord, Mark, was straight out of Central Casting - everything you might expect a Northern Irishman to be and sound like. We spent a lot of time chatting with him to hear his views in his delightful (to a US ear) accent. The room was clean and comfortable. Great Irish breakfast included, but the pub does not serve dinner. No problem, there are a couple of good Irish restaurants down the road a couple of miles. The Giant's Causeway is only a few miles away.

We booked a family room, It was perfect for our needs, They have a bar downstairs which looked homely and I would have loved to have had a few drinks there but abstained due to driving early next morning. Breakfast was the best we had on our few days touring around Down and Antrim
Only thing I could suggest is that if there was a food option in the evening, Other than that I have no complaints. Staff were friendly, Room and bed linens were clean and breakfast was excellent

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Staff were good craic, and happy to entertain in the bar of an evening. Great location for seeing causeway coast. We had two entertaining evenings in the bar with macaela and mark learning about the local lifestyle, with a few card tricks in-between.
Understandably they didn't do evening meals due to staffing, so we had to drive to neighbouring villages for dinner.
