It is rare to find a family room which accommodates a family of 6, (4 single beds - bunks, and a large double) so we immediately booked this hotel when we saw it. The room was clean, spacious and the inclusion of a few accessories for your dog (if you choose to bring them) is a lovely touch. The bar and restaurant are lovely and food was fantastic. The staff were really friendly too.

The sound proofing in the rooms off the car park are poor. It sounded like we had a herd of elephants upstairs and at one point I genuinely thought the ceiling was going to come down on top of us. Unfortunately this continued late into the night and started again early in the morning, so we didn’t get much sleep.

This place us just brilliant. We visit the area once a year to come to the NW200 racing. We always stay some along the North Coast but this was the first time in Ballintoy. The Fullerton Arms offers spacious, comfortable rooms. With lovely bathrooms and plenty of storage, food is amazing, beer is kept well, staff are friendly and very good at their jobs. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. 2nd to none is how I'd describe this place. 👌

I had the most amazing experience here. The staff was the best ever !!!! I was not able to reach the hostel that I booked on time because it was past 11 and this place was close by so I decided to go there. It was already super late and their doors were closed too but I called and a guy answered and let me in. He was a night porter and did not know how to check me in but he video called his manager and made it happen for me. He was super nice and even carried my bags up to my room for me. He let me know that if I needed anything, I just had to ask. They rooms were really nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower gel was really high quality that smelled amazing. They even let me extend my checkout time by a hour because I was so tired from my long drive the night before. Highly recommend this place.

We had a really nice dinner here and my brother and husband said they had the best breakfast on the whole trip here! The room we had was a king and 4 bunks, the bunks where very comfortable (I slept in one) and it was pretty quiet even tho we faced the parking lot. People do start getting up early and banging and car/motorcyles starting up but if you're in the bunk it's really quite. We all had an excellent nights sleep!

We had a lovely stay,staff all very friendly & efficient. Lovely vibes in restaurant/bar at evening time & nothing was a problem for staff,very attentive. First time for us as, booked last room (was bit on small side/above kitchen) very cosy though & spotless,bed comfy!! Lovely outside area were we sat & had bottle wine, covered seating area like little pods. Will definitely return a little gem of a place. Thankyou!

Great location for Giants Causeway; Carrick a Rede and coastal drives. The pub and food is great. We had a family unit in the outside building. Good room size- large double bed was comfy and good bathroom/ shower. Part of the room is subdivided into a 4 bunk bed unit. Convenient for families.

If the weather is bad and you are stuck inside it’s not great- quite dark and it opens straight onto the car park. In the ground floor flat the soundproofing is poor. Noise from upstairs - children banging- was loud; though just adults the next night was fine.

Would definitely recommend the place. Friendly and helpful staff, ideal location for seeing many of the local sites of interest. The food was tasty and well-cooked. However, the menu was a bit limited for us, we were expecting more local fare and seafood. If you like burgers and fried food you'd be fine, but we'd prefer some healthier options too. It's a minor thing, and overall our stay was excellent.

The staff were lovely; friendly and on the ball. Dog friendly everywhere! The food was divine, which we ate while sitting on an armchair by the fire. The rooms spotless and comfortable. Incredible scenery, and the locals we bumped into were really friendly. I will go back. A 20 minute drive to the lovely town of Colraine (which has shops aplenty!)

It's not that I didn't like it, but there's no local newsagent, so buy munchies on your journey there.

Perfect for what myself and my friend needed. We wanted to be close to the coast and Ballintoy Harbour for a NY day wild swim. Fullerton Arms was lovely, warm and welcoming with a very nice room. Super comfortable beds and good food. I'm a vegan so was surprised at the presence of vegan food for such a small village and it was one of the reasons I chose this place. Although the rooms were above the bar and it was NYE we heard no noise at all.

Antique from the outside, yet modern and updated room and bath. Great location, in a beautiful area. We had a drink across the street, taking in the view and then dinner in the cozy bar at the hotel. Grabbed pastry and tea next door in the morning. It is a qiuet area with not much else around, but outstanding scenery in either direction, so made a good base to explore from.
