Decorated to a high standard. Warm & cosy with the most incredibly comfortable bed. Lovely quiet nights sleep with a lovely breakfast.

Needs some tweaking at breakfast. The warm fruit juice in cartons ran out & not replaced & the plastic cereal dispenser was broken at parts. No pastries,meats,cheeses for a continental choice. No refill of tea/coffee offered. Had to ask for toast. Staff member kept disappearing to sit at the front desk talking with other staff members instead of being in attendance in the breakfast room. Disappointing as up to this point all was perfect.

Staff very welcoming. Room was lovely - everything you need and a mini fridge for fresh milk. Beautifully decorated throughout. Food in restaurant excellent quality and a great price for portion size. Met the owner who was lovely and sorted our heating in bathroom. Very friendly atmosphere which is what you look for in a small family run hotel.

Only niggle was with prawns for starter at dinner - but very quickly rectified and we're delicious. At breakfast had a full scottish cooked breakfast which was great quality but sausages not cooked all the way through - asked if wanted something else but full from rest of beautfully cooked breakfast. As I said only slight niggle.

The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Bathroom was clean, modern and had all the essential toiletries. Breakfast was excellent., and the restaurant had amazing menu selection. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. We loved what we ordered.

Maybe they could have Air condition installed in the rooms as it was hot during the time of our stay. We had to open our windows to have cool air come in through. That was the only minus point of our stay.

Everything around Aviemore is so expensive and not particularly nice (hotel wise), this is an absolute hidden gem…especially when you take into consideration the cost as well - absolutely outstanding rooms, staff…food was pretty standout too - still cannot get my head around what a great deal it was…absolute delight

Nothing to really complain about….at a push, if forced, I would say location could be slightly better…but not exactly a hardship!

Easy to park on arrival. Lovely staff, superb recently refurbished hotel/room. Big shower, comfy bed, warm and cosy. Choice of dining areas, good food and lots of it. Great location just south of Inverness for adding on to the NC500 if you're so inclined. Cairngorms and Wildlife Park nearby!

Before arriving it was difficult to tell where we might eat, the online presence was not clear. I'm sure this will get better soon as the new set up becomes the norm.

Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful interior of a really high standard. Check in smooth with great staff. Felt personally welcomed and valued as a guest. Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Great bedding. Robe and slippers. Fresh milk in room for tea and coffee! Beautiful bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast a good selection and hot cooked to order.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for us. The hotel was immaculately clean, rooms very comfortable, staff friendly and welcoming and food excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly at all times and delivered great service. Hotel was spotless with modern facilities. Food quality was very good.

Beer garden was in car park which is not ideal. Hotel is clearly developing this area with new benches etc. so I am sure will be better for future guests.

Hotel has had a major refurb. It is beautiful inside- its had a lot of money spent on it. Public rooms are great as are the bedrooms. Staff are very good too and very helpful. This place deserves to do well. Enjoyed our walk round town too- very clean and quiet, Dinner was excellent

No access to car park from the hotel you have to walk around the back about 100m which is difficult carrying bags. double yellow lines mean you can't park outside while you nip back in. But it's not a show stopper unless you have mobility issues
