We booked a family room, the room was spacious enough for us and very clean. The staff at the swimming pool are lovely. And we enjoyed breakfast because there was plenty of choice. Thank you and hopefully we will be back again at some point.

We've stayed here before and it's always enjoyable. The rooms are becoming a little tired in places so a little tlc here and there, considering the price, would be good. The hairdryer had no back on which I hadn't noticed before using it and my hair got caught in the motor and some ripped out. some modernisation needed but we'd still stay again, as my son likes it and we love Aviemore so the location is great. The pool could be filled a bit more, we noticed the water was quite low and you could see a tide mark around the sides. The hot tub was rarely working. The staff are amazing though throughout the hotel and facilities.

The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our evening meal in the Aspects Restaurant, although a little pricy (especially the drinks). Breakfast was also nice. Staff were accommodating and allowed us to move rooms for the second night. We would return, but would request a 3rd floor room.

Room 2116 on the ground floor was dark (due to slatted blinds, needed due to overlooking the car park, and surrounding area blocking the light) the bathroom also smelt musty/ cigarettes. Ground floor meant we were on the main walk way for all guests on that side of the building and slamming corridor doors kept us up. We moved to 3rd floor for the second night and it was so much better. The overall site is in need of an upgrade and tlc. However if we were on the 3rd floor for both nights, our opinions overall would have been massively improved.

The room and the breakfast were very good and staff friendly and helpful. We ate out as we hadn't booked dinner, bed and breakfast.

I requested a non-slip bath mat (there was a notice in the bathroom saying they would be issued on request). My partner has hip problems and the first morning almost slipped and fell as the bath was dangerously slippery. I had to ,request this 3 times before eventually getting it at 7 p.m. Also on the Thursday morning there was no hot water to wash and shower and we wanted to be away early for another long journey. It took over an hour before the water came through - not good enough I'm afraid.

We stayed in 3 different hotels in this complex over the course of our visit, with each of the rooms being of very similar set-up and space; some had a sofa bed (this one), some bunk beds, some easy chairs. Room very comfy and well appointed. Bit of a walk to the bar / restaurant, but evening meal well worth a try (lemon sole was very good). Breakfast was a fairly standard buffet, of a decent quality.

No especial vegetarian / vegan options in the breakfast buffet, although there was plenty of choice to get around this. Was also a little tricky navigating to the rooms, as they are numbered with 4 digits, arranged over 3 floors, and quite a few people were a little unsure of where they were headed.

The buffet Breakfast in the hotel was not a great experience the staff were friendly and helpful, however the sausages were two tone and lukewarm as was the bacon , and the plates were cold , the coffee in pot was very weak and had to be replaced as was the lady next to me had the same issue with coffee, you had to put the bread through the automatic toaster twice to get it toasted, we had dinner in the restaurant and as usual our drinks order was taken before our meal order however never arrived until we were halfway through our meal . all small issues easily fixable

It was spacious and clean. The staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Lovely food on our first evening. Breakfasts were very good, no other meals taken as we were there for a conference & other meals provided in conference venues.

We did not have a 'room serviced' label to hang on the door and mentioned this at Reception asking for our room to be serviced, but apart from towels being replaced, no service happened. I had to go back to Reception to get a label to hang out for future mornings at which time the room did get serviced. At no time did biscuits provided on check in get replaced, which was disappointing.

Great Breakfast. Excellent rooms. Lovely views, excellent amenities (When actually open!)

Very understaffed, rooms were not ready on time, room service were struggling to keep up with demand of turnover from coach parties AND service clients like us who were staying for several nights. The Pool and CHildrens facilities are only open 8 -12 and 4-8 so DOES NOT service families travelling with children very well whereas it always used to be great - especially if it was raining outside. This probably reflect the staff shortages. Both restaurants in the evening are overpriced with very limited menus for children. Great for family breakfasts but next time we would eat out for the rest of the day.

Our double room had a huge king size bed, with amazing pillows, mattress and linens. The room had 2 lovely easy chairs and an occasional table to sit by the window, dressing table area, great hairdryer, and a basic coffee/tea tray. Good size TV, excellent free wifi. Shower over a bath - nice and hot, but not a full on power shower. We couldn’t believe how well insulated the room was. We stayed at New Year so it was busy with lots of families. I’m a light sleeper and didn’t hear a thing. Our room was on the corridor leading to the swimming pools, so only a few meters away without going outside. Breakfast was good and varied. Nice relaxing reception/bar area. We ate at 2 restaurants, both good though we preferred the Italian as the food was plentiful, cheaper and the staff all gorgeous and super friendly.
