Great location and waking distance to the main road/ places to eat/train station. The property offered anything we needed for our stay. The hosts went well and above by offering little extras. The place was very quiet. We had a very good sleep. It offered homely, comfortable and relaxing stay. Gill made us a really good home made breakfast with a continental as an option. Kenny and Gill made sure we were well looked after. They were very welcoming hosts, nothing bothered them, even me parking my car outside the parking area. Great place to stay, highly recommended and would definitely return.

N/a - everything was perfect

We stayed at a glamping pod for 5 nights and had the most wonderful time! The pods are really cozy and the perfect size for a couple. The pod and the bothy which glamping guests can also use have everything you need for your stay to cook or pass time - altough you really want to be outside as much as you can, for it's the perfect place to go on hikes (and much more)! You do not want to skip the delicious breakfast, freshly prepared by your lovely hosts Ken und Gill. They are wonderful people who will make you feel right at home and have the best hiking (and mountain biking) tips! We will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time last year and quickly decided we would probably be staying here every year. Ken and Gill were amazing - always caring about how we were and offering lots of things to make us more comfortable. The pods are so cozy - it was always perfect to come back to after a long day. The bed was comfy, had facilities that were perfect keeping in mind we stayed there for a full week and most people usually only stay for a couple days. It's a perfect area to stay - it's always quiet and there are so many beautiful landscapes nearby. Breakfast is great (they even have a vegan option which made everything a lot easier for us). Honestly, Ken and Gill (and Layla the pug) are the best hosts you could ask for - you immediately feel welcome. Amazing value for money. We'll be back next year.

We didn't want to leave.

Our first stay in a pod and probably our last but that's just down to our preference. Very clean, compact and well equipped with added bonus of a "bothy hut" mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave and toaster shared with others staying in the 4 pods. Cooked breakfast options served in comfortable shared lounge/diner with also a large TV with sat for use. Ken was very keen to make sure we had all we needed. Short walk to Tesco and pubs bit further on. Small town stretched mainly in one long street. Plenty of walks and ski centre short drive.

Decided pod was great but bit too compact for 2 but that's just our personal preference. They also do B&B but none available when we booked.

Ken and Gill made us feel very welcome, taking interest in my 10yr old son, catered to all our needs, and able to provide info on the local area. The rooms in the guest room were exceptional, with everything we needed. The guest lounge and afternoon cake was a lovely added bonus. Next time we'd love to book the glamping pods. Easy walk into town and local activities. Gill's homemade cooked breakfasts were delicious each day. Ken would always give a warm welcome, with stories to tell, and helpful with bike storage etc. I'd definitely recommend booking here.

Very vice couple Gill and Ken running the place. Hot breakfast made to order but only until 9 AM. There is a lovely and busy bird feeder in front of the breakfast room/common living room. Location is close to the Highlands Wildlife Center which is worth a full day visiting. In response to Ken and Gill's reply: As far as we know we booked a 'family room' and simply didn't notice that 2 of the 3 beds were not made as they looked like they were. They looked very nice! and we didn't notice that there were no sheets or duvet under the blanket until we went to bed. Breakfast was definitely fine (as you can see in the title of the review), I don't know why you see a 7,5 as Booking didn't ask us to rate it with a number or with stars. We did like our stay and we rated it with an 8, which in my book is very good. We think the information we gave is informative for future guests.

There was a lot of information to take in when we arrived, but a few essentials were still missing. Unfortunately, only the double bed was made ready for use in the family room, which we only discovered very late when we went to bed. This was fixed straight away the next morning, but ruined our first night's sleep. If you want to use the bath, we needed to book in advance so they can boost the hot water supply, which we didn't think was worth doing as we got home late the other evenings.

Ken and Gill were fantastic hosts, glamping pod was spotless, comfy and had everything you needed, breakfast was £12 but definitely worth the money to set you up for the day, cereal, home made bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt, selection of teas and filter coffee, fruit juice and a choice of hot cooked food, I had something different every day and I stayed a week. Highly recommend eriskay, a few minutes walk from aviemore centre and a hub to travel and see the surrounding areas, already booked for next year.

No negatives at all

It was our first night in Scotland and we wished we had booked more! Gill and Ken are just lovely hosts and Gill's breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip through Scotland! I just loved the spice in the food! we had the honor to meet their beautiful well kept Kakadoo, as well! And in the evening (as we were tired from our journey) we could relax and watch the European Championship in the very comfy sitting area in the breakfast room Ken even had a variety of regional beer to offer. Just a (too) short stay at Eriskay but we felt at home right away. Next time we would try the Glamping Pods. Thank you Ken and Gill! I will try to bake your lavender cake soon! Greetings from Austria Ursula and Wolfgang

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- the location is perfect as it is quiet but within walking distance from restaurants, shops etc and close driving distance to many attractions. The pod was amazing- we had everything we needed and the pod it’s self was spacious and very clean. Ken and Gill as hosts made our stay so special as we were made to feel so so welcome. We loved meeting Moya the cockatoo and Layla the pug too. Gills breakfasts were absolutely delicious, we both highly recommend the eriskay breakfast! We shall definitely be staying here again in the future!!

The hosts, Ken and Gill were incredibly welcoming and made our entire stay a pleasure. It was really nice to chat with them and they made sure we were comfortable. Gill's cooked breakfast was fantastic with great vegetarian and vegan options for us, which made it a real bonus to stay here. On some days we needed to leave earlier and we were able to make our own breakfast in the fun 'bothy' common space. Having both the outside bothy and the inside guest room meant that we had plenty of space to unwind and eat, which made the experience more comfortable than expected for a 'glamping' experience.

No complaints, our stay was excellent.
