we had 2 rooms, a standard & superior. The superior was at the end, was slightly larger & had 2 large armchairs, a desk, table. there was a fridge & a safe too. Excellent size, bright & airy. The standard room was very similar, but was not on a corner & was without a safe, but also excellent value for money. Is about a 10-15 minutes walk into the centre, & despite being near the main road, its elevated position kept it very quiet.
The parking got a bit busy & cramped, but there were still spaces 50 - 100 metres away. otherwise no complaints at all.

The location at the southern edge of Aviemore makes the hotel easy to find. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and there are plenty of outdoor activities and places to explore on the Rothiemurchus estate a sort distance away. The property is clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff were welcoming and helpful and responded promptly to messages online prior to arrival. There are tea/coffee making facilities and while there are no breakfast facilities there are plenty of options in and around Aviemore so it’s not a problem.
In spite of being a centre for tourism we found the food offering in Aviemore limited in the evening. We checked in at High Range lodge at around 8pm, dropped off our bage and went straight out to find somewhere to eat (google maps indicated that a number of venues were open until 10 or 11pm). We tried a number of places that we’d found in the village on google maps but they were only serving drinks, no food. We finally found the Indian restaurant very near to the hotel was our only available option other than grabbing something from the Tesco or M&S. We enjoyed our meal, but options in Aviemore were limited.

Large rooms, super clean, modern. Needed space to stage my new ski touring setup. Picked this place because the rooms are bigger than other comparables in Aviemore. It was all true! Lots of space to spread out and arrange my gear. Bathroom faucets / sink is deep so could easily accommodate a Nalgene (really annoying when places have cheap setups so you have to fill your water bottle with the cap) Lots of plugs to charge stuff where you need it. 2 x large coffee mugs (can accommodate cereal :) 2 x whisky tumblers 2 x drinking glasses 1 x small fridge with a mini freezer that works (for a mini freezer) Super clean. Very centrally located.

Good location, walking distance from town centre but also good for early morning walk along nearby cycle path & woodland walks. Pizza restaurant right beside it was handy for tea at night but nothing nearby for breakfast (just short stroll into town cafe was fine).
The room we had must have been near services for the property as there was regular sounds of air con (not in the room though) and/or other stuff switching on and off during the night which was a nuisance. I think the wee fridge was part of the problem but a sign said please don't switch off the fridge (which we didn't need).

Booked 2 stays as were were undertaking a canoe trip down the Spey River so wanted accommodation either side of that. I couldn't have been more happier with High Range rooms - Comfortable bed, great shower and facilities in the room. For a no breakfast only option, there is a Petrol Station just along the road with an M&S shop attached. Lots of places around for eating out. We visited the Cairngorm Hotel on first night, and the Italian restaurant at the entrance to High Range on the second night. The price for both nights for our party was just right.

Friendly staff at reception. Room was clean and comfortable - although pillows were not (probably personal preference and you can't suit everyone). Kettle with tea and coffee provided. Convenient location at the southern end of the town. Although next to the main road, it was very quiet. Next door to a terrific Italian restaurant. Plenty of parking I would stay again
I found the room very hot with no way of turning the heating off. Towels were changed daily - I feel this is unnecessary and not eco-friendly. A little pricey when compared to other options with similar rooms and more facilities

Great location for hiking in the Cairngorms and all the services available in Aviemore. Room was clean and large for the price. It had a kettle and a fridge which was really helpful. The tray for wet or dirty/ wet/ icy boots was a good touch. We also appreciated having a car charger on site. Reception staff were very helpful.
Nothing! The only improvement would be a drying room with a dehumidifier for hikers, skiers, cyclists, watersports enthusiasts etc. It would be a great facility and would save damage to your rooms from inappropriate attempts to dry things inside them.

Very friendly staff at reception. Spotlessly clean shower…no mould, no clogged -up plughole. Huge bath sheets. Mirrors don’t get steamed up. Fridge in the room. Electric radiator which we could control the temperatures. Large windows which actually fully open. Comfy bed. Great storage and hanging space. Secure entrance. Two chairs and a coffee table. Large smart tv. Tea and coffee and kettle. We only stayed two nights but the room is spacious and comfy enough for a longer stay. Their Italian Pizzeria/ Restaurant is conveniently next to the property. We have stayed here many times and always choose it. It is a motel with no breakfast but there are loads of places to choose from in Aviemore. Or bring in your own to eat in the room. Great value. We definitely recommend it.
Nothing.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Cairngorms National Park. Being in Aviemore, it is a great base for site seeing. On arrival, we were directed to our room which was spacious, clean and tidy. There is car parking on site with no additional fee. Checking in and out is simple. Free and good WiFi. In a good location on the edge of town within easy walking distance of local shops, restaurants, bars and railway station.
All good with no problems.

I arrived quite late at night, so was really pleased that the entrance and main halls were well lit and spacious - it felt safe. Room was much larger and better equipped that I expected from a motel, with lots of useful plug sockets. The shower/bathroom was fantastic - I appreciated that all the soaps etc were refillable - and everything was spotless and comfortable.
When I first parked up, I couldn't see any signage for which building the rooms were in (I arrived late, so couldn't go into the reception).
