We have been coming to the resort for many years now and always enjoy our stay. The location is great, the grounds and the accommodation are super. We enjoy having a swimming pool on site, and also use the big pool in Aviemore. It was helpful being given a weekly 'timetable' of events happening at the resort too. Having a few shops and carry out places nearby is useful. The parking at the lodges is tight, in terms of size of spaces, but it is good to have a couple of extras for visitors.

Nothing really, although the menu we were given on arrival at reception didn't match with the one in the restaurant which was unfortunate as the children had to change what they had chosen! We enjoyed the Quiz night on the Sunday, but it was very late in starting (almost an hour late) which made the finish time late. It was great fun, but could have moved along a bit more quickly!

Good value for money for 2 bed lodge. Everything we needed. We were lucky with our lodge as it looked out onto the Golf Course therefore no other lodge really looked into ours which was nice when sitting in the conservatory area. It was good that the swimming/ leisure facilities was included in price of lodge.

Lodges are a bit dated. Could have been slightly cleaner, i.e there were a couple of long dark hairs on the bathroom floor. Also there are a lot of cobwebs in corners of lodge. The walk to the hotel could have been lit. There were no lights to show the way and was very dark through the short woodland path. Was unfortunate that the jacuzzi was not working, as this was one of the main reasons we booked to stay here and did not know this in advance. The changing room floors in leisure centre were quite dirty and could have done with a mop. Also the restaurant was also closed when we stayed.

Self catering option - v useful for us as we are on a budget when travelling. We were able to order a delivery from Tesco (Inverness) and the hotel were helpful in accommodating this if we were going to be late. Kitchen well equipped, altho cld do with one more frying pan. V comfy beds.. useful to have known on description that we cld request to have them zip link together as I needed to call about this and it still wasn’t too clear.. but it was great that they were able to make the twin beds into a king. We wanted to use a usb port on the tv to watch a few films and the electrician came and sorted it very quickly. And changed a dud light bulb, he was friendly and efficient. Super location and buses into Aviemore were frequent. Lovely natural areas around the golf course to explore. Staff were caring and friendly, and also helpful in supplying info about the public transport and general info about Cairngorms base camp etc.

Bit disappointed that the jacuzzi wasn’t working for our stay. I’m not a golfer so the swimming pool set up was quite important and I booked on the strength of the being a jacuzzi. I enquired and heard it was a heating issue. However, the pool was a fantastic temp and I also enjoyed the sauna and steam room.

I liked the good amount of space, the peace and quiet and the facilities in the cabin. It was lovely to overlook the golf course. Lots of birds around to enjoy too. The swimming pool was nice but it was a shame that the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The staff were very friendly. Nice area for dog walking. Convenient for the town.

I didn’t like the fact that so many people exercised their dogs off the lead on the golf course which we overlooked. Clearly ignoring the golf course rules and also winding up my dog, whilst we were inside our cabin, who gets a bit freaked out by dogs running around off the lead. The bar was also very over priced.

The apartment was spacious and had a charming country-style interior. The surrounding area was stunning, with beautiful scenic views, especially from the sunroom and bedroom. The resort’s facilities were excellent, including the swimming pool, sauna, and sports hall. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.

The sofabed cover and the carpet weren't very clean. Also dishwaher had a bad smell. And the lounge light wasn't working upon arrival but the technician replaced it promptly which i appreciated.

The size and layout of the house was more than what I expected. The photos on Booking.com don't do justice to the actual size and layout of the property.

some minor points: 1. Bathrooms should have mixer taps rather than individual ones for hot and cold water 2. The lounge sofa-bed bedsheet was full of hair (probably animal hair) 3. There were only 2 match sticks provided for log fire 4. The reception staff asked for the apartment key to get a towel for swimming pool but we were only given one set of keys at the time of check-in

Location is awesome. It is quite a lovely stay shrouded by tall trees and beautiful views of Cairngorm mountains. Very near to Aviemore town centre. House was cosy and had all the necessary appliances

The big disappointment was nothing was provided in the kitchen. We had to buy everything table salt, sugar, oil, cleaning liquids etc.. you get the point.. I don't understand this policy, at least few basic essential should have been there..

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and positive. Happy to help out. The bar was really good for families, which was an unexpected bonus. The pool was a good temperature for the toddler. Location is superb, easy to walk to town, but quiet and secure. Cabin was comfortable. My daughter loved it so much she did not want to leave.

There was the old time clock in the electric meter cupboard which ticked loudly all of the time, you could hear it clearly from the bathroom and twin room. It was ok-ish in the livingroom if the door was shut. Ear plugs essential to sleep. The shower pulses if on above a certain temperature.

The chalet is very comfortable and spacious, was perfect for the family of 4. Kitchen facilities were good. Really nice veranda for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Has bath, though be cautious of a not so large volume of warm water from boiler. Quiet place with nice space around the chalets to walk and enjoy the nature. Authentic wooden construct. The presence of a pool and minimal sport facilities is very beneficial.

The volume of warm water from the boiler is a bit tight for 4 people. The bathroom would benefit from a bit of renovation but the state is ok.

Nice and quiet would visit again, the patio lodge/apartment was bigger than expected for 4 adults and 1 toddler plenty of space. I would definitely visit again and would happily recommend a stay here to anyone.

Only faults where there wasn't much entertainment for the time of year, restraunt wasn't open to guests so we never went to the main resort, we only visited to swim. The apartment hot water wasn't heating at night either, so I couldn't give my daughter a bath at night before bed to stick to routine. Mattresses were a bit hard, but that's just a personal choice. Couldn't fault the place.
