The room was very large and spacious and came with decent facilities. The bathroom was small but nice, and the shower always ran hot. The towels were clean. There was the usual tea/coffee, hairdryer, TV. A desk and chair were provided also, as well as a sitting chair. There was a desk fan which was handy as the weather was warm. The cooked breakfast I had both days and was very nice, cooked fresh to order. The dining room is a nice enough space. There was free parking on site (although limited to 3 spaces, other paid parking is nearby). The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It is only a 7 minute drive to the waterfront. For the price the overall stay was excellent. I would return again.

Clothing storage was only a small rail in one corner and a basket, but luckily I hadn't taken a great deal of clothing. Some type of drawers might be useful, although you could have used the nightstands which were substantial compared to most. There wasn't a shaving point in the bathroom or room, so I had nowhere to recharge my toothbrush.

It is clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly. The facilities are great and the location is brilliant - just a short walk from the train station and the city centre. I will definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to other people visiting Plymouth.

Only that the curtains let in a bit too much light and the bedroom I was in faces onto the street so it could do with a net curtain for privacy. Otherwise it was fine.

Nice cosy room with a very comfortable bed, blackout blind and very quiet. Excellent host who was very helpful and knew the area well. Very good value for money.

I didn't realise that my room would be on the 4th floor with no lift, but the host kindly carried my suitcase up for me. Because my single room was an attic room the beam was something to be aware of, even though I'm only 5'4!

Great location for train. The host was lovely with lots of local knowledge. The room and bathroom was a nice size with everything I needed. Clean and comfortable.

55 steps to the room🥵. I knew it was in the roof. Whole UHT milk! I wish people wouldn't steal from their hosts. I could have used a fan. Nothing much not to like.

I was welcomed on arrival. My suitcase was carried for me to my room. I had a spacious, clean and airy room with every facility that I could need. Breakfast was freshly cooked for my personal request. The situation of the guesthouse , being close to the station, was good too.

The Wi-fi was sometimes iffy

Wonderful location, close to main street and connections to city centre. Also had a wonderful view from the room, as well as a clean bathroom and comfortable beds.

Only complaint is that there was no lift for accessibility - room was very high up on the second floor and stairs are hard to see at night.

The heating was nice and cosy. We could watch TV in bed. Lovely bath and shower. Plenty of room. Modern bathroom. Extra bedding provided. The proprietor was welcoming and showed us around so we could settle in well. The kitchen was clean, roomy and well equipped.

I think guests had been smoking in the room. The big curtain needs dry cleaning as it has absorbed the cigarette smell and makes the room smell even though it’s all very clean. Bath plug needs repair . Need to be careful with as I was.

Good distance from the town and clean rooms. The owner was lovely and very helpful.

Rooms were nice but we were unable to open window and the room didn’t have a fan making the room quite hot- overall however enjoyable stay

The room was compact but comfortable and clean . The owner was helpful and friendly. Location is very good for the city centre and University.

The room was at the very top, so a bit if a climb but easier coming down.

Great hospitaliti from start to finish i like to mention the onwer great person how wanted to make sure we are happy with everything. Breackfast just delicious....great chef. Amaizing👍 Thank you very much!
