Easy parking. Pleasant and welcoming owners. My single room wasn't large, but good use was made of space therefore didn't feel cramped. I had a little balcony! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Good location for Plymouth Pavilions, Thê Depø Venue, and not far from The Hoe. The breakfast room (picture attached) was well decorated and very welcoming. Good range of cereal - 5 or 6 varieties - and yoghurts. Good range of jams and spreads for toast (but no Marmite!). Some fresh fruit available. Good value.

The sausage on my breakfast place wasn't the best I've eaten, but the rest was scrumptious.

Highly recommended!! The owner/manager of the guest house is superb, quick check in and induction and got my key. Clean inside hallways and stairs. Shows me the little room cafe where you can have breakfast. Quiet and great location ,everything is near. 5 mins to plymouth pavillions and to the seaside/beach. Easy access to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. 10mins to high end street if you like shopping. 10mins walk from train station,5 mins to coach station. The room was clean and tidy. Complete amenities, and toiletries. Bed is comfortable, i have the one bedroom private bathroom and exactly what i wanted. Clean sheets and a TV. Will definetly come back again in the future.

It's a really friendly place to stay. I was met with a very warm welcome and the service at breakfast was excellent. I had let them know in advance that I was a vegan and they made an effort to ensure I had dairy free spread and milk. I only had tea and toast but other people eating a bigger breakfast seemed to be enjoying it. I had a single room and the bed was very comfortable. I think the bathroom has been upgraded quite recently as there's a good sized, powerful shower. It's very close to the town centre and to the Hoe so the location is great.

The single room is very small with not much space to move about or put any of your things/bag. There's a small dressing table/desk but it's also got tea/coffee stuff on it so it's all very cramped. The TV doesn't work on all the channels and you can't fill the kettle up in the bathroom as it won't fit under the tap. There's no proper curtain and the window is quite old so it let in light and the wind (it was a particularly windy day). It's completely fine for a quick, basic one-night stopover but too small for anything longer, especially if you're travelling for work and need a bit more space to use a laptop etc.

The room was super cozy (we slept perfectly because the bed was super soft). The guest house was pretty close to both the city centre and the seafront. But the best thing was the hospitality and the kidness of the owners: they waited for us for the check-in, asking if we needed infos about what to visit in Plymouth, suggesting restaurants and chatting about Italy. For breakfast we had an absolutely delicious traditionally home-cooked english breakfast! Thank you again for everything!

Judy & Jeff are just wonderful owners, they will have you feeling like their guesthouse is your home. I love everything about Cassandra Guest House. From how immaculately clean, neat and tidy it is to the beautiful decor. In an excellent location you can walk to the beach, river, shops, restaurants and historic sites. Very quiet, warm, comfortable and a lovely breakfast. If you are driving you can buy a parking pass from the owners or the buses are close.

Perfect location for Plymouth Hoe and the British National Firework Championships. Our room was spacious enough to include two tub chairs and a table plus a desk / dressing table and chair. The en-suite shower room was modern, well equipped and best of all well lit. There was a generous amount of tea, coffee and milk which was very welcome. Breakfast was first class, full English cooked to order plus continental buffet. Overall a very welcoming, relaxed and comfortable place to stay.

Nothing, our stay was great and our hosts even sorted out car parking vouchers for us at a very reasonable cost. There is on street parking outside the property but the whole area was exceptionally busy because of the firework championships.

The place was within walking distance to clubs, casinos and bus stops, the beds were so comfortable and the whole place felt safe. The hosts were lovely, breakfast was a nice little addition. Overall just a lovely experience, I don’t really have anything negative to say!

Literally only downside was that there was no safe in the bedroom but there were some concealed places to stash things anyway.

The Guest House was everything you would expect from owners who care about customer experience. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who were extremely helpful about leaving our luggage for a few hours after check out. Great breakfast which was cooked to order. Location was ideal for us - about 20 minutes' walk from the station where we arrived, and the same to the ferry terminal where we departed from next day. We were lucky enough to have a few hours in Plymouth before our departure and it's an easy walk from the Cassandra to the Hoe and Barbican areas.

Perfect location for visiting the Theatre or Plymouth Pavilions with onstreet parking using parking permit from the guest house. The breakfast was very good with the inclusion of gluten free items needed for me, not everyone bothers. The rooms were beautifully decorated and presented and were scrupulously clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!! Did I mention that the people were lovely too?
