The bar area was alright, but not in anyway inviting, a bit like being in a sports centre bar. I didn't eat there as it was not a nice area and the place is only a mile away from Saltash town, so ate out, but the room (apartment) totally exceeded expectations, and the staff were fabulous and very, very helpful. A lovely place full of lovely staff in a lovely setting... really, very well done

Bar / restaurant area could do with a revamp to make it a bit warmer / more comfortable & welcoming. It is a bit like being in a school cafe as opposed to anywhere nice, so that area could do with updating. Also in the rooms / apartments, PLEASE get rid of Nescafe sachets (really, nobody uses these anymore) and invest in some coffee machines (even Premier Inn's have them now). Just a 'half decent' coffee in the morning would be a big improvement

The Tamar apartments were fantastic and very well supplied, clean and comfortable. The best part was our 3 year old and 5 year old could stay on the sofa bed and we could have the privacy of our own room and actually get a good sleep.

There really wasn't much to fault other than pricing and quality of food on offer. The breakfast even when discounted was very overpriced for what it ultimately was, a very basic buffet style of pick your own bits and bobs. Everything served was over cooked and most annoyingly not piping hot. So for 40 quid we got a very underwhelming breakfast. Similarly the dinner and lunch menu of which we had a dinner and lunch was again, average in taste but sadly overpriced for what we got in my opinion. The booking site also made it sound like all was included such as the kids activities but later found out this was paid extras. The pool and spa facilities and waterslide though were all included as well as the ability to book out the indoor gym area so that was good.

Overall superb stay. Location is stunning The Apartment for us 4 was perfect - super clean and in great condition. Everything worked as it should. The Pool, Spa and Gym were beyond our expectations to be honest - incredible. The Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loads of parking Good Wifi

To us the only thing China Fleet misses is a decent restaurant that families can go into. The Brasserie food was basic, and it felt like you were in a corridor / leisure center cafe, hardly the feel of a £15 per pizza / main course place to enjoy a end of day relaxed dinner, especially with the soft play right next door (a great asset), but not ideal when trying to have a relaxing dinner. So in summary, engineer a proper dining experience there, and leave the Brasserie for ultra informal eating / coffees.

We recently stayed at the China Fleet Club for five nights with our family in a two-bedroom flat, and it was absolutely brilliant. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, and the facilities were of outstanding quality. The beds were cozy, and the kitchen was impressively equipped with everything we needed—truly second to none. The location was perfect: peaceful, away from the town, yet easily accessible. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. The swimming pool was a highlight for our family, especially for our 8-year-old son, who enjoyed it every single night. My husband and I spent a couple of relaxing hours in the aqua spa, which was impeccably clean and well-maintained. All the essentials like shower gel, towels, and cold water were readily available, making it very convenient. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend China Fleet Club for a comfortable and enjoyable family getaway.

We all had dinner on quite a few evenings whilst on our holiday. The food was excellent as well as the wonderful choice, Just one of the things that made a perfect holiday. We were celebrating my grandson's 1st birthday and he had his first experience of being in a swimming pool - the really lovely pool at China Fleet. Each night we all had a great night's sleep in the large, comfortable beds, ready for another great day visiting wonderful, beautiful,unique Cornwall - many thanks to you all. David. I did not like having the wet room instead of a shower or bath in the bathroom. Water everywhere - needed loads of floor towels to mop up water everywhere.

The apartment was adequate for a short 3 night stay. The bed was very warm and comfortable. All the meals were enjoyable, value for money, fast & friendly service. Pool and Spa excellent. Driving range and crazy golf great fun even for beginners.

Because we had children with us we were unable to go into the lounge. No other comfy area was supplied so we had to sit in the restaurant all evening as our apartments could not accommodate 8 people in our party. The heated towel radiator in our apartment did not work. Kitchen cooking equipment was very sparse, anyone who wanted to cook full meals would be disappointed.

It is such a lovely place, one of the best swimming pools. The water flume is so fun, spa with lots of different steam rooms was located next to the pool and is free to staying guests and is open all day until very late. There is no need to book slots. There is no need to bring towels as these are provided for free at reception. The restaurant/bar is very nice. Large menu and quality food. There is a soft play next to the restaurant open until 8 pm. Food service was fast, even at busy times. You can book free slots on the indoor sports courts for tennis, badminton, table tennis, and pickle ball. There is a driving range next to the main building. You do not need to pre book, and it was good value. Crazy golf is fantastic. Really fun course and beautifully maintained. Apartments are clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly. I think it was one of the friendliest places I have stayed. This is an area where I find a lot of places unfortunately lack. Nothing was too much trouble, and most staff members had smiles on their faces. We will be booking again in the future.

There were a few minor issues. Our heating hadn't been switched on, so we woke up in a freezing apartment on a very cold January morning. Someone had forgotten to turn it on at the main hub. This was sorted quite quickly, though. The toilet didn't flush properly. You had to hold the flush down for several seconds for it to fully flush. The swimming costume dryer in the ladies' changing room was out of order on both days we went swimming. Very limited cookware in the apartment. It was fine for us as we ate at the restaurant for every meal, but you might struggle if you plan on cooking meals. These are all minor issues and certainly wouldn't put me off staying again. I only mentioned them because this is advertised as a 4* holiday.

The accommodation was brilliant, nice and clean and the reception staff were so helpful. The appartment had everything you needed for a self catering holiday and liked the complementary milk, tea, coffee and juice. With my partner being unable to walk far, and having health issues we asked for an accessible room and it was more than we had hoped for and the bathroom was a fantastic help with the grab rails and the seat in the shower. Carnt wait for the football fixtures to see come out so we can plan our next trip.

Great facilities and lots of activities to do for you and the kids included in the price. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Very comfortable, would definitely stay again really enjoyed ourselves. Having a kitchen with a cooker, microwave and fridge gives you the option of cooking for yourself which could help if you are on a budget.

Thought the breakfast option was quite expensive would have been better if it had been a bit cheaper or some type of deal included with the accommodation. especially the children paying pretty much the same price when they ate a lot less. I think next time even though the breakfast was delicious I would buy the bits and do it cheaper in the apartment.

We LOVED staying here! My Husband and I came away for a child free spa weekend and we can’t wait to come back in the future! The staff were incredible and super friendly. The room we stayed in was so clean, fresh towels, lovely teas and coffees, we were really impressed. Lastly, considering neither of us play golf we did have really good fun on the mini golf course and also the driving range.The Spa, was fantastic! It had so much to choose from, we even dared to try the cold water therapy showers. If you do come with children though, the pool is amazing and there is a lovely soft play ideally located in the bar/food area.
