Room was very large and bed was comfy. Room has everything a traveller needs. Bathroom was large and has everything i need. Room was clean and quiet and watm. Staff was kind and helpful

There were no actual problems apart from the air conditioning unit - see below. Apart from that everything was fine. Excellent choice at breakfast.

I switched on the air conditioning unit and set it to 17C to cool the room in the evening. After 5 minutes, an error code showed (66 - 08) which meant nothing to me. After another 5 minutes a further error situation occurred with the light flashing on and off. I meant to report this to the reception desk but I forgot on every occasion! Perhaps we should have asked for cooler sheets for the beds rather than the thick duvet. We thinned them out a bit.

Easy to find - daughter driving and I'd forgotten my disabled parking badge but that wasn't a problem at Reception so easy for me to access the Hotel. Couldn't have a disabled room as they were all fully booked - a bit more difficult to shower but I managed and the toilet, basin were fantastically placed. Beds comfortable and quite high so again, easy for me to get into and out of. Air con wasn't working but was provided with a super fan immediately. Were staying for a wedding - reception at Hotel...that was brilliant too. Bar prices reasonable (compared to where we're from) and buffet food was off the chart! Staff extremely helpful - booked a taxi to City centre for me, found me a great seat for breakfast which was delicious, even though we were quite late down on Friday - staff member at breakfast, cleaning tables, a young lady with tied back hair - didn't catch her name but she was very helpful and very kind. Outside seating area - obviously not quiet but again, no noisier than most Hotels of a similar design and situation and easy for me to get to...noticed slope to picnic tables and no steps - nice touch if you're disabled and can't do steps. Can't really think of anything negative to say. Would recommend for the price over 2 nights for 3 adults in 2 twin rooms - just over £300.00❤️❤️❤️

The hotel stands out nicely on approach and easy to find good car parking facilities . A nice large welcoming reception area with plenty of seating, very friendly staff and helpful booking in was easy too. There are two supermarkets right behind the property in case anything is needed that may have been forgotten and a Starbucks in the car park for that early coffee and a cost right behind along with mac Donald’s and kfc across the road so all in all you don’t feel like your miles away from the city . We stayed for four nights and had no issues there was no housekeeping for one day but that did not impact our stay .

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay we were really surprised at the standard of the hotel especially for me (I’m ultra fussy🤣) but I would say the only things I think could do with improvement which are minor maybe inspection of the rooms by management to check overall appearance of things in the room as I found the lampshades on the top rims to be rusty which was noticeable and took away from the overall nice look of the rooms and the quilt cover was ripped at the seam on the top edge .However like I said this did not impact our stay it was lovely .

Spotlessly clean, huge beds, had one each so could spread out. Staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating especially in the restaurant. Bar and restaurant both very good. Had a wonderful meal there with friends and they do a good continental breakfast with hams and cheeses which is ideal for me. Very good value accommodation and we will definitely use it again. I've already recommended it to friends and family

First night we had kids running up and down the corridor till 4am. Our phone in the room didn't work so we couldn't phone reception, however when notified next day they were aware and knocked some off my bill which was very good of them. Our phone unfortunately was never fixed which was a shame as we had to use our mobiles to contact reception for room service and they often didn't answer. Room service menu very limited if wanting a late night snack. Again this was a very minor point which in no way spoiled our stay

Staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms had 2 king size beds, bedside tables, wardrobe, drawers and chairs, and there was still space to walk around. Shower over bath, rather than separate but powerful with plenty of hot water. Water fountain for cold drinking water in corridor. Air conditioning worked fine, making the stay over 3 days very nice. Large free car park for residents made the stay even more convenient and much better value v hotels in the centre of town. Position of hotel with Starbucks (in car park), Costa M&S food and Macdonalds within short walking distance should make everyone happy. Nice bar and restaurant, but we had breakfast only, which was above a Premier Inn standard. Food looked good value in restaurant. Outside seating if required. A comfortable bed, good soft towels and bathrobe. In all, the rates were excellent, and the stay was very good value.

The bathroom was a good design, where you could separate the toilet, but a separate shower would have been better as the bath could get slippery. The wall with wallpaper was just beginning to peel back at the top due to age, but it was still intact. Rooms could be modernised slightly, but this was not a problem.

Great hotel! We had a suite and it had lots of room for a family. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location was good. Bus to the centre 200 metres away ( by the eye hospital). It was next to an M&S food hall ( there is a fridge in suites) and Starbucks. As world travellers, we loved that there was a guest laundry! The need for a washing machine often makes us choose private accommodation, so having a hotel with this facility was thoughtful and a game changer. We would stay again.

We thought the size of the room was exceptional. The water dispenser on the corridor was a bonus and should be a feature in all establishments. This will reduce plastics. We thought the staff were attentive and professional.

Our breakfast experience was RUINED by two thoughtless guests who were using their mobile phones on loudspeaker to take calls in a loud and rude manner. The contents of the calls which were confidential were so loud you could hear the conversations in all parts of the breakfast area. What should have been a nice experience as the choice of breakfast was exceptional was ruined by these ignorant people. Perhaps a sign should display no mobile phones to be used and staff trained to deal with such incidents.

I couldn't believe the value of this hotel, booked last minute for a great prices than travel lodge or premier inn. The room was massive, we had a king and a double for me & my son. The room came with toileties, hairdryer,iron + boards, tea/coffee, dressing gown. Parking was free, a bar on site. The road in the day is busy but at night so quiet, loads of local big shops, 24hr star bucks, McD, KwitFit, B &M etc. Easy to access from the A38. Everything was clean and tidy. Checking was quick and easy, so was leaving. Staff we friendly and helpful.
