Someone was at the reception desk to hand over the keys and explain how things worked. The studio was nice and clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed staying at Fox House Studio's. Great city centre location, plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance, just brilliant!

The temperature in the property was quite high....I suppose there is nothing much they can do about that as the heating was off. Subsequently we'd opened the window at night but that let the noise in. We did make the comment about the temperature to the chap on the desk when we checked out.

Foxhouse Studio is a fantastic place to stay in Plymouth. The room was clean, modern, and exactly like the photos on Booking.com. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the wardrobe added a stylish touch. It’s perfectly located in the city centre, just a short walk to the mall, restaurants, and local attractions. Buffet City is right next door, and Barbican and the Hoe are also nearby. Everything you need is within walking distance, making it super convenient. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend Foxhouse Studio to anyone visiting Plymouth. Great value and lovely atmosphere!

There’s honestly nothing bad I can say about Foxhouse Studio, I’m completely speechless. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was unbeatable, right in the city centre with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a welcoming, peaceful vibe. I kept looking for something to criticise, but there was truly nothing to fault. Foxhouse Studio exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Plymouth.

Location perfect for me, especially as I travelled by train. Kitchen area had everything I needed. Staff brilliant. Competitive price fir location.

Aircon in bedroom was set to very cold & no instructions how to change it. I could have asked the receptionist but I was too tired to get dressed to go to reception. I didn't notice how cold it was until I was in bed. A(so, I failed to discover how to operate the microwave, but wasn't critical. Instructions to operate aiircon & kitchen equipment would ne useful. But standard was so good otherwise, I still rated the room.highly.

Great central location and a very reasonable price

Lots of traffic/ city noise at night - unavoidable because of location but be aware if you’re looking for somewhere quiet. Description on booking didn’t accurately reflect the accommodation - one bed up a high ladder - fine for us but not easily accessible

We had two rooms, one is with double bed and the other for two adults and a child. The double was on the 1st floor, nice and cool, comfortable. We needed early check in because it was raining all day. Usual £10/ hour early in. The staff, both receptionist and housekeeping polite and helpful.

The family room was on the top floor, with a loft and a very steep ladder. My two year old was constantly trying to climb and it drove me crazy. Would be nice to somehow block the access. The room was compact and very hot. Window and fan on all night but didn’t help much despite that the temperature outside wasn’t more than 20 degrees.

1. It is difficult to collect the key upon arrival because i arrived in the evening while the receptionist only work till early afternoon. 2. The power plug on the wall does no have USB portal, so it is difficult for me to charge my mobile phone. 3. The curtain is too light, it does not block the light well in the morning, so i was waken up to early by the sun light. 4. The noise from outside (bars or pubs or clubs) was bad during the weekend.

The property is in a good location for access to shopping areas and tourist attractions such as the Barbican & the Hoe areas. It is clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly.

Two things that I found a little annoying were the fact that when using the internet it would keep dropping out particularly if I was watching something on social media. The second thing was that the room was not dark. By that I the windows have no curtains. They have blinds but these don’t close tightly together and so let in quite a lot of light. For people like myself who like a dark room too sleep in it can make it difficult. But other than those two things everything was great.

Beds were very comfortable - it was great to have a double bed and also a double mattress on the mezzanine. The apartment was clean, warm, and equipped well for a comfortable weekend stay (kitchenette, cooker, microwave, kettle etc). Compact but not cramped Plenty of towels (which were big and soft). Central location, friendly staff, and great value for money.

I'm 5'2" and had to sit sideways on the loo as there was a lack of leg room in front of the toilet (so a bit odd) ... my 5'10" son also found this uncomfortable.

Bright, sunlight-filled, very clean and large room with good wifi, workspace, couch and great little kitchen (fridge, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster). Very quiet, it was a lovely space for working and relaxing. Nice to have windows that open. Friendly, helpful reception staff, available 24 hours. Good location between university and seafront, close to some good restaurants including the beautiful vegan Cosmic Kitchen. Parking in the Barcode car park opposite was very good and easy, standard city parking rates.

It was all great. A coffee machine and a return to proper blackout blinds would have made it even better (I had to wear an eye mask for sleeping). There are, however, plenty of coffee places within short walking distance that open early.

The general staff went above and beyond to meet all and any needs I had. The studio was clean and comfortable and had all the basic equipment in the kitchen. Located just on the outskirts of the City.

Basic staples like cooking oil would have been ideal. After checking out, we asked reception to look after our bags while we did a bit of sightseeing. When we collected the bags, my partner used their toilet and I over heard how the manager spoke to the receptionist who allowed this. She was frighteningly rude and in my opinion, the way she spoke to him was un called for. This upset me greatly.
