Gorgeous suite with spa bath on the balcony, very comfortable bed, lounge area very comfortable and the bathroom had a b ath big enough for 2 and a rainforest shower that was more than adequate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was very tasty and a great wine and cocktail list to choose from. What more could you ask for?

Nothing disappointed us, all very good, if I were to be picky I would say the mushrooms at breakfast could have been done better but great sausages made up for that. The continental selection was very good.

Beautiful and incredible hotel, truly a magical experience. Extremely comfortable and cosy rooms, everywhere is picturesque. The complimentary turndown service is such a lovely extra touch.

I have stayed here a number of times now and there’s nothing I can really fault, however this is the first time going with my partner and as a young couple I feel we were treated differently than I have been previously. Nothing serious, just the check in experience felt rushed and not how it has previously, for example we weren’t offered a drink which the people next to us were and after us. Also the breakfast service is different with it being help yourself to cold items, and staff asking you to “call someone over to take your order” just took the quality service down a tad. All this being said I still had an incredible time and will definitely return in the near future.

Gorgeous hotel, the spa was amazing and so relaxing. The staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was super tasty with a main course and a continental options. Amazing value for money. We had an economy room and the rooms were comfortable and very well equipped, tea and coffee facilities were the best I've seen, with cafetiere and coffee machine and real milk! The toiletries provided were lovely too, fantastic quality.

With it being a historic house on a hill, there were stairs and ramps. Not an issue for me and perfectly understandable, but would recommend calling the hotel if accessibility may be a consideration.

Very nice building and surroundings, stayed in the modern side and the room and shower were very good. The amenities in the rooms were also very good.

The bar lounge, We were sat down by the bar staff and they didn’t return for 20 minutes, there wasn’t many people in the lounge either. Eventually I had to go up to the bar and order my meal. They then tell me I had an old menu and my burger would be £4 more than what it stated. When it came my chips were cold and the server couldn’t of walked away any quicker, at this point I didn’t realise we had no salt and pepper, I also wanted some sauces, no one returned so again I had to go to the bar and grab my own. They never returned to take plates away or ask how are meal was either so we just left. Poor service when in paying £32 for a burger and chips! Eat elsewhere.

Lovely location, beautiful property, friendly and very helpful staff. Relaxing environment, easy to park.good fantastic in Acleaf restaurant. Spa staff very friendly.

It was just so very, very COLD in our room, corridors and generally on the hotel. Staff turned on our heating for the second day at our request but there was still no heating at all in our bathroom and in the corridors. Additionally, it was difficult to manage the shower in the bath as the glass shower door was in the way of reaching the taps. There are lots of stairs to negotiate so would need to take this into account with any mobility issues. We had a great stay but addressing the heating problem would have made it better.

Stunning oasis of calm in a busy world. Beautiful setting and the spa is amazing. The facilities are impressive, lovely robes and high quality toiletries. Beautiful eco room with luxe amenities and a view to match. Nice to have drinks service in the spa and the outside area was lovely in the sun. It’s a great spot if you want to retreat from the real world and de stress.

Staying for two days the food options are limited and expensive, so would be worth taking the dinner, bed & breakfast if you can afford it. The bed was huge but very hard. On rainy days there are limited places to lounge in the spa. Brasserie menu was limited and expensive for what it is but the service was exemplary.

Me and my girlfriend had a great time at Boringdon Hall from check in to check out, everything was exceptional. Stunning hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast the first day was tasty but cold. 2nd day the breakfast was perfect , tasty and HOT. Spa is great also and the gym is also decent for a hotel gym. Will be booking again soon! They also left a card and a small bottle of gin for my girlfriend as it was her birthday! Really appreciated. Lovely ambience in the bar also.

The room was amazing, the location great and the staff helpful and friendly.

The service at breakfast was a little slow, my full english was almost cold, and by the time I'd finished eating it my coffee arrived. I appreciate that it was very busy however, I'd be more than happy to serve myself coffee from a machine rather than wait for someone to serve me. This didn't spoil our trip however, it's an expensive overnight stay and it fell a little short of expectation in this regard.

Location was absolutely amazing the hall was beautiful, very impressive, the spa was amazing, my husband liked his massage, the staff were very professional and accommodating, even walking through the corridors people were asking how the stay was which was excellent, a maintenance man asked us on our way to check out how everything was which was very nice, the acleàf was really good and a lovely experience, the food was good to try, some id never heard of, and I even drank the glass of Chardonnay when I don’t drink at all, the check in/out staff were excellent, especially a young lad didn’t catch his name but he was fab, the bar staff and waiter staff were excellent, and the mayflower staff were also ok but did over look a few things

There was a chap in the acleàf that was touching his nose like he had a cold which was off putting, also the mayflower was good but we were the only ones waiting 10 mins for drinks then my husband had to go and ask for them to be served which they did promptly with an apology which is fine, also the corridor going down to our room number 82 expensive rooms, smelt like urine or something think it may have been the moss or the carpet but that wasn’t pleasant apart from those few bits it was absolutely beautiful 😍

We stayed in the deluxe room. It was clean and spacious. It was very quiet and comfortable. Best room I have stayed in. Bath is amazing to use.

The lifts were broken. These need to be fixed asap for the equality of disabled guests. Shower was a bit weak. The reception staff could inform you of the fitness classes occurring. The spa staff could be more welcoming. We went to the spa whilst waiting for our room to be ready and they were talking amongst themselves and didn’t really acknowledge us. We were left figuring it all out alone. They could be more attentive and inviting. We didn’t go back to the spa the next day because we felt the staff were icy and we didn’t feel comfortable with queries.
