Great service from all the staff who went out of there way to help us from the moment we arrived through evening meal , breakfast and checkout. Traveling with an elderly family member who is very unwell. We had an accessible room with adjoining double room which made caring for our Father very comfortable and convenient. They even an extra heater for our dads room. (The rooms are warm enough but he required that little bit warmer). We all slept well and left rested. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and staff very on hand keeping everything clean and topped up. Especially liked the extra zone for gluten free products and toaster. We only chose 5his hotel as its convenient to the motorway as a half way stop over. However we would choose this place again as we have family near by. I look forward to returning and being able to visit the pool and sauna area.

We loved this hotel for its excellent location from the motorway and not far from Alton Towers. The onsite leisure facilities - pool & jacuzzi were fab 😍 food was brilliant especially the breakfast! 😋 The staff were all superb throughout and all very friendly indeed, but I must say a special thanks to the lovely Rachael on reception, she is most certainly one of the nicest people ever! Thank you for being so hospitable/ accomodating / friendly and making us feel so welcome 🤗 The decor was really nice, rooms were clean, honestly I'm struggling to fault the place at all, we would definitely stay here again 😁 Thank you so much for having us. The location was perfect, easy to reach from the motorway after a long drive. The room was good, there were tea and coffee facilities and enough space to store our luggage. The bed was comfortable. We had breakfast included and it was good, the team were able to provide a nut free breakfast. The staff were really helpful, especially Ollie, James and Piotr, they took our requests seriously. James was also able to provide some advice when we had car problems.

I had problems with the shower, I could not make the shower head move up the rail. I raised this with the team and Ollie assured me that technical support would be able to sort this out. I understand that at the weekend this was difficult to arrange. It would also have been helpful to get captions on the TV, again the team said they would look at how to get this sorted.

Clean, tidy and spacious room. I don't sleep well outside of my own bed, but it was very comfortable. Pasta dish on Saturday evening in the restaurant was very good. Wasn't expecting that size portion for the money so was very pleased. Staff very friendly and not overly attentive.

I didn't mind the room location. 162 was a trip to and from the bar/restaurant area. No issues there. However after I came back from a walk Saturday morning I found my key card had stopped working so had to walk all the way back to reception, then back to my room again having had it refreshed for my second day stay. I don't know whether this is policy or whether I was just unlucky. Was quickly rectified to no real drama.

As soon as we arrived the young gentleman on reception ( I didn't catch his name) was soooo lovely. Really friendly and informative. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel that we saw. Unfortunately we had to leave really early so we did not get a chance to try out the breakfast. I would definitely stay again if I wasn't with my hubby as the bed was too soft for him so he was quite uncomfortable and didn't get much sleep but it was fine for me. The location was perfect for us as we were attending our granddaughters dance competition nearby. There was a restaurant in the hotel that looked fab and even a park outside for kiddies.

The bed was far too soft for the hubby unfortunately so he didn't get much sleep but this is no way the hotels fault.

Having read the reviews previously written on your website, I admit to being sceptical about what to expect when arriving at the hotel. However, I needn’t have worried. We were met with a lovely welcome at Reception and all members of staff without exception, continued to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The food although slightly limited was amazing, especially children eating free at any time of the day/evening.

Only one small complaint, my granddaughter is 13yrs old and is a member of our local gym. She was looking forward to using the hotel facilities (the gym, pool and jacuzzi being the main reason for us booking this hotel), and extremely disappointed to be told she was too young to use the gym and the jacuzzi. As both my daughter and my husband intended accompanying her, and taking full responsibility for her, we felt this decision was rather harsh.

The dinner was excellent, much better than expected! The menu was fairly limited and didn't match what was on the website but we were all very happy with what we got. The staff were very friendly. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfy

A lot of the lockers in the swimming pool were broken (doors came off the hinges when opened) and it needs a new paint job on the doors to the changing rooms. For ordering food in the restaurant you have to use a computer and we found it very frustrating to use. There were 3 of us with allergens to we had to ask for more of the machines. It was very frustrating and time consuming to use. Just bring a normal paper menu please. We had to use it even to just order a jug of water! The food was quick to come after finally ordering though

The reception staff, specifically Ollie was absolutely outstanding! He was extremely welcoming, professional and tried his hardest to meet our requests. He went above and beyond so thank you so much! The room was a decent size, and bed is comfortable. Overall would say Ollie (the receptionist) interaction is what made me give this hotel an 8!

No lifts, so plenty of stairs which are not accessible at all especially for mobility impaired guests, the room had stains and dirt across, wasn’t too notch clean and the TV remote does not work so you have to press this ancient TV manually and even them not great option; they need to get RID of the TV’s and modernise it, and lastly the rooms are not soundproof, so was woken up early in the morning after a long even from other guests slamming/closing their doors.

Great location. We had visited the Emma Bridgewater factory for my mums birthday and this worked well for us as we didn’t want to stay centrally. Really great breakfast / food choices. Pool was lovely addition too. Our room was really clean & comfortable and super quiet which was great after a long day. Staff were exceptional and really kind, I didn’t catch the lady’s name on the desk sadly but she gave us complimentary breakfast as it was my mums birthday which was super lovely and made my mums day due to your kindness! Lots of car parking spaces and play area for any children. Great size room. We will definitely use this hotel again when we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location near the motorway but you couldn’t hear it at night. The room was very nice. I informed them at check in that I might return late and wasn’t sure if the door would be locked and they gave me a card with the contact number. Both checking in and checking out was an easy process. Will definitely be back when I need something similar

I thought the water pressure in the shower could be stronger, and you can occasionally hear people walking past if they are talking. I was in a room towards the back (33) and I was walking to my room I could hear the music from the Christmas party all the way down the first hallway, luckily nothing past that.
